Keeping Promises

Hermione stands watching as everything zipped past her in a flash, her guilt tormenting her as she waited.

“What has become of me?” She thought to herself. “No wonder they weren’t impressed, it was a terrible idea a truly utterly terrible idea!”

As everything slowed down around Hermione she could now see that it was a day before all this happened. She tucked her time travel necklace into her pocket and began to walk out of the old house that they had been before she went back in time.

Hermione apparated herself to Hogwarts, she was safe there for now because it was the holidays and nobody attended school on those holidays except… Hermione… of course. She had to be careful as to not bump into herself on the way through the corridors of the large magical castle she called home.

She wondered what Harry and Ron were thinking as of now, what they might be doing… She had grown to love the boys as if they were her children. But of course they weren’t so Hermione had to collect her thoughts and concentrate on keeping her promise.

Hermione made her way through the castle and stood in front of a blank wall, she looked around to make sure she hadn’t been followed or seen and shut her eyes really tight and thought ‘I need to keep my promise’, as her thought was processed the outline of an old wooden door made itself visible and she walked through. This room was called the room of requirement, a room that would only reveal itself if you really needed something, and Hermione needed to keep her promise.

After Hermione stepped into the large cluttered room the door faded yet again to keep its location hidden. She loved this room, she would come here when she needed alone time, when she wanted to hide, when she wanted nothing more than just quiet. She spent every spare hour in this room and it brought back memories. She remembered the time when Harry started up a fight club to teach everyone what he knew about spells and how to use them, to defeat Voldemort… She felt bad for everything; this title was rightfully his, not hers. She wondered yet again what Ron and Harry were doing at this moment. They had most likely lost faith in her all together, they probably think she’s not going to keep her promise, but she will, she knows that she will do anything to change things back to normal, if it meant going back in time and adjusting her actions, then she would most certainly do it.

A/N Short and sweet this time guys hope its alright Hermione isn't evil afterall!!! :D
