It takes about a half an hour to get to Pearl City with my new tail.

I don't even know why we are even going there. It's completely useless. Bubbles didn't even tell me anything, but he gave me a deathly look so I didn't push it and did as told.

"Are we there yet? My tail is getting tired," I whine.

"We'll get there when we get there," Bubbles says, obviously annoyed.

After a few more minutes, I begin to see a marvelous looking city with pearls everywhere.

Whoa. This place is absolutely breathtaking.

"I know right. It's beautiful."

I roll my eyes. I really can't keep anything from him.

"You got that right," I say.

We walk towards a shop that is called Freshwater Pearls. That's interesting. I looks like some sort of boutique and beauty shop.

We walk inside and a girl who is about my age, is sitting on a chair looking awfully bored. She immediately looks up to see who it is and jumps out of her chair.

"Bubbles! I've missed you so much! Where have you been? How- who's your friend?," the girl- no mermaid asks, gesturing to me.

"Oh, this is Melody. She needs your advice because she's the daughter of the king and queen," Bubbles says calmly.

Wow, nice and subtle Bubbles. I hope he reads that.

Her eyes instantly pop out and she says, "Oh my gosh! It's you! I've been waiting for the day to finally meet you. My name's Leimomi. I'm a friend of Bubbles."

Leimomi has long black hair which is so pretty, it looks like a dark blue color in the water. I imagine it's even more beautiful out in the sun.

"It's nice to meet you," I say shyly.

I feel a little self conscious since I'm not very used to talking to others. I hope Bubbles reads my mind and catches on. Luckily he does.

"So Leimomi, could you give a pep talk to Melody? She's feeling a bit scared about taking down Angelica, the Siren," Bubbles informs.

"Come with me," Leimomi says, gesturing for me to go into a private room.

We both leave Bubbles behind, which is actually nice because I need a break from him reading my thoughts, and enter a smaller sized room.

"Sorry about before. I'm not usually that hyper but I haven't had any visitors for two weeks! I've been so bored."

"Oh it's fine," I say.

"Anyways, what's wrong? You're soon going to become queen. Shouldn't you be happy you finally found where you belong?"

I shake my head. "No, all this information is all so overwhelming and I am afraid I'm going to let everyone in the ocean down. I mean how am I supposed to do it?" I ask her.

"I don't know but you'll find some way to defeat the Siren. I mean you can come to me anytime. And you'll have Bubbles by your side. You don't have to worry. All you have to do is look beautiful and help other merpeople," Leimomi tells me.

She is right. I can really talk to her. A tear slides down my cheek and then disappears since we're underwater. We swim silently in place for a while.

"What if we give you a makeover? I love doing makeovers! Would you like one?" she asks, trying to brighten my mood.

"She'll do it!" Bubbles yells from the other room.
