"So how was your first day of school?" Dad asks wearily.
"It actually went great Dad, I met a friend, his names Colton."
"Woah, wait a minute there kiddo, did I just here a 'his', as in, implying the 'person' you met is a boy?"
"Yes Dad he is a boy, and no, you don't need to be worried, he showed me around this morning it's fine really." I end with my well known smile.
"I feel as if there is an ending to this conversation I am not going to enjoy."
"Well, you see Daddy, Colton asked me to come and hang later today, and before you say anything there is going to be a bunch of other people, he is introducing me to his other friends, so if you think about it it's real-"
"Okay, okay, I get it honey, you can go but...", "I want you to be extra careful, and call me if you need me, okay?" He says as we turn into the drive way and park up.
"Yes! Yes! Yes Dad! I love you so much!", "And don't worry about me, I know the drill." I jump out of the car and run inside and straight up to my room. I pull out my phone and text Colton:
Me - Hey!! 😊 my dad says I can come over!
Colton - Awesome! The address is 23 Clover Place, Devenpost Gardens 😱 come over like 4ish?
Me - Yeah sure! I'll see you soon! Boooooooiiiiiiyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeee!
Colton - Bye 😊
I look around my room and realize I have to change my outfit. I head towards my wardrobe and pull the doors open. I take a look and finally, decide on a white T-shirt with yellow daisies on it and a pair of ripped black boyfriend jeans, I tie my hair up in a high ponytail and grab my phone and maroon vans. I walk downstairs to the kitchen and grab my car keys. I jump in my car and drive past the houses in my area and soon reach the rich area of Asheville known as 'Devenpost Gardens'. I pull up in Colton's driveway and walk up to the front door and knock. I wait awhile before Colton's smiling face opens up the door and lets me inside.

"Hey! Took you long enough Sky!" Colton's smirk evident on his face.
"Yeah sorry 'bout it, your place is hard to find." I spoke truthfully.
"Are you kidding me? Have you actually looked at the size of my house? Hard to find? That's your excuse?" He questioned me amusingly.
"Well you didn't tell me you lived in a fricken mansion!" I sassed back.
"Oh my god" *laughs* "You" *laughs* "Really" *laughs* "Don't know this area?" *laughs* "Do you?"
"No! I moved here on the weekend!" I defended.
"Okay, fair enough, now come in and meet everyone!" He smiled.
We make our way from the front door down a hall way into what looks like a lounge. There are four other kids sitting on the multiple couches. Two boys and two girls. One of the girls makes her way to me. She is lanky but tall with long white blonde hair and a few freckles scattered across her nose. She sticks out her hand.
"Hi! I'm Thea! I'm Colton's twin! It's lovely to meet you!" She spoke very cheerily.
"Hey, I'm Sky, it's really nice to meet you too!" I flashed my over-used award winning smile.
Colton buts in. "Okay so now you've met 'it', I would like to introduce you to everyone else, so the couple over there is Thalia and Noah but we mainly just call them Nalia", I look over at what looks to be a black haired girl and a brown haired boy. "and over there in the corner is Iraiah."
I turn around to see an extremely handsome dark haired boy looking me up and down, his mouth slightly apart. After he composes himself he speaks.
"Hey, it's nice to meet you Sky." He looks down at me with a cocky grin.
"Yeah... It's nice to uhmm... Meet you too Iraiah." I spoke slightly bewildered by his gorgeousness as a human being.
Colton decides to but in, again. "Well, why don't we leave Sky and Iraiah here, to you know, get to know each other properly?"
"Wha- wait never mind I have a history project I have to do with Noah anyways, do you mind if we finish it upstairs Col?" Thalia spoke sneakily.
"Yeah, knock yourselves out!", "Thea and I have to go and clean the pool anyways, we'll be back soon!" Colton yelled as he headed towards the back door.
I have a feeling this was set up. Oh well, I'll just go with the flow.
