"Hello, Harry! M'name is Teddy, your future God-Son," said the stranger with a broad grin.

Harry looked at the man in disbelief. His future God-son?

"The headmaster was right. You were a scrawny kid until sixth year," said Teddy with a wink, breaking the silence. However, he wasn't looking at Dumbledore, but at Professor McGonagall.

"Perhaps, you should elaborate why you are here," said Lupin, wearily indicating to a chair that appeared next to Lupin's side of the couch.

Teddy nodded but to Harry he seemed quite sad, but his wide grin covered the sorrow well.

He sat down with ease, but some of the observers felt more comfortable standing given the circumstances.

"Wotcher, Teddy," said Tonks with a smile. "What's brought you here?"

He looked at her with interest, tilting his head.

"Making sure everything is going as planned," he said, stretching in his chair. "Time travel is something else. Isn't it Au-Hermione and Harry?"

Hermione and Harry exchanged looks that was not lost on most of the room.

"It's Tonks, innit?" asked Teddy, looking at the pink-haired witch.

She tilted her head confused. "It is, how would you know?"

Teddy grinned and his hair suddenly changed from turquoise to pink. "Wotcher, mum."

Everyone stared back and forth between an open-mouthed Tonks and grinning Teddy.

Tonks had never pictured herself as a mother, but looking at Teddy as he switched his hair back to turquoise gave her a sense of awe and joy.

Tonks stood up with a grin. "Be too much to ask for hug, Ted?"

Teddy grinned and quickly walked over into her embrace. He could feel tears starting to prick at his eyes, but Harry had said they were to not know until it was time. He pushed back his sorrow and enjoyed the comfort of his mum.

Tonks was beaming when they pulled apart. "What's your full name Ted?"

"Theodore Remus Lupin," he responded with a side glance at the said werewolf.

Lupin only stared, not sure how to handle this information... was this... his son too?

Sirius broke the tension and clapped Lupin on the back with a barking laugh. "I knew you had it in you, Mooney."

"Be too much if I asked for a hug from you, eh dad?" asked Teddy casually, but underneath he was anxious for the answer.

"I - " Lupin seemed to still be lost for words. It was inexcusable how callous he was in the future - risking the life of a baby to his fate. He felt rather ill.

Lupin studied the young man, his son, and could see the anxiety in the similar brown eyes. He stood up, still feeling unsure and walked over to Teddy to give him the hug he had requested.

Teddy hugged him, but whispered in his ear, making everyone rather curious. "You might as well stop ending it, eh? She doesn't care what you are. I turned out like mum, not you."

Lupin looked over at Tonks then causing her to blush.

"Let's get on with this," sneered Severus, annoyed with the constant interruptions.

Teddy looked at him with a smirk. "You're just like what Harry described you as, Snape."

All Hogwarts students snorted, others merely looking amused. Harry looked rather sheepish.
