Teddy swiped the iPad, going from picture to picture of all the crime scenes.

Once again, thanking the innovation of his Aunt Hermione in pushing the merging of Muggle technology to the Wizarding World.

Aunt Hermione.

His Occlumency walls rose quickly to focus only on the task at hand.

They were missing something.

He glanced across the conference table at his dad rifling through paper files. If he wasn't the Head of the Auror Department... and Harry Potter... the wizard would've been sent home.

Dad was rubbish at Occlumency.

"Stop giving me that look, Teddy," muttered Harry, not looking away from his current musings.

He was a bloody good Auror though.

His focus ventured back to his iPad, but a wave of dizziness caught him off guard. Teddy tried not to tense as he waited for the episode to pass.

He knew why it was happening, but it couldn't be helped.

"Victoire would have your arse if she knew it was getting worse," commented Harry casually, unbeknownst to Teddy had shifted his analytic focus onto him.

"I'm fine," he murmured, his gaze finally able to focus, the world righting itself on its axis.

"It's effecting your metamorphigi," said Harry, his brows furrowed in concern.

Teddy already knew this.

Again, couldn't be helped.

"What are we missing?" prompted Teddy, attempting to shift their discussion.

Harry took his glasses off with a sigh, running a hand down his face. "Possibly nothing."

Teddy looked back down to the pictures of murdered Muggles and burnt down houses.

"I want to talk to them again."

The noise Harry made was apprehensive. "What good could come from that, Ted? They've been under questioning with Veritaserum. They were in our custody when... when she went missing -"

"Let me talk to them, Potter."

Harry's mouth quirked. "Potter now, is it?"

"Didn't it seem odd how they showed such little emotion? Bloke was a hot head, wearing his emotions on his sleeve."

"Emotional range of a teaspoon," Harry said quietly, staring past him, lost in a memory. He quickly shook his head. "Grief changes people, Ted."

"Not like this," said Teddy, glancing back to the current picture on the screen.

Muggle torture... why did that specificity of a victim pool seem familiar?

"Motive doesn't fit," Teddy added, trying a new angle.

"Insanity lacks reasoning," replied Harry quietly, pushing a file away from him.

Teddy sighed, rolling his chair closer to Harry. "Dad."

He looked up, his expression tired.

"Submit the request... for both of them."

Harry narrowed his eyes, looking at Teddy sternly over his glasses. "You're coming over for dinner tonight. No excuses. Your mum is worried."

Teddy couldn't help but smirk. "Deal."
