"Y/N!! GET DOWN HERE!! WE HAVE NEW NEIGHBORS I WANT YOU TO MEET!!!" my mom screamed up at me. I let out a small grunt as i walked down the stairs feel the July heat from the front door. I was expecting it to be adults like it always was. It was always adults with no kids. I slowly made myself to the door beside the door and slowly held my head up. I was shocked to see one boy, one girl, and what seemed to be their parents. They looked around the same age and look incredibly similar. They were about the same height but I think the girl was a inch or two taller. I think we were about the same age.

"Hello, you must be miss Y/n. I'm Mrs. Schnapp and these are my children, Chloe and Noah. We just moved in next to you and your mom told us she had a girl the same age as these two. They are twins." She reached her arm out to shake my hand. I shook it very slowly as I stared at the two kids. they were looking down at there feet avoiding eye contact. I saw there dad nudge them and there faces slowly rose up. The girl began to talk first.

"Yeah, i'm Chloe and this is Noah my twin brother. We are 11, you are to right?" I nodded. I have never really been good in awkward conversations so i just nod, mostly so i don't say the wrong thing. The boy seemed shy.

"Well why don't you guys come over for dinner! It will be great and we loved to get to know you guys since your kids will be starting school soon with my miss Y/n." My mom announced. Great now i have to sit through a dinner hoping I don't say the wrong thing. Its not that I didn't want to get to know them, I just didn't know if I could.

"We would love to! Should we come around 5:30, is that okay?" She had an amazing smile with glissing white teeth. So did both of the kids. They all had amazing smiles.

"That is perfect see you then!!!" My mom then closed the door and turned to me, "They seem like amazing kids Y/n! You should get to know them. It would be so cool if your best friends live net door. Give them a chance." She knew I was very awkward in conversations but her pep talks didn't make it any better. I nodded again and kinda faked a smile as i slowly made myself up  the stairs to my room and flopped on my bed. I looked out my window to see the same boy that was at my door step moments before. He was unpacking. Of course I didn't stare at him, that's just weird but I sometimes did glance over to see what he was doing then. Tonight needs to go good. Mom was right. Open up.
