Trust me

Chapter 7

Raya felt rage bubble in her chest as she walked through Fang. The place was falling apart and people were running in fear. Her sword in hand as people ran the opposite of where she was walking. She felt rage and heartbreak.

Rage for Namaari and her betraying her again and heartbreak for Bao. She let him in only to find out he wasn't who he said he was. How could she be so foolish? Letting her feelings get in the way of her mission? Now she remembered why she didn't give her heart out anymore.

The palace of Fang was falling apart, people running and turning into stone. But Raya didn't care anymore. All she wanted was her Ba back and she screwed it up for some guy. She wasn't going to make that same mistake again.

She stormed up the stairs and used the piece of dragon gem to block the Drunn that tried to take her. As she walked in the throne room, she saw the walls falling apart and the curtains that once blocked the sun were on the ground, painted by the dirt and debris.

She noticed Namaari's figure standing in front of the throne her mother would sit. "Namaari" she growled. Namaari turned her head, revealing her stone mother. "Let's finish this binturi" she growled out before taking out both her blades and stormed down the steps of the throne.

Her and Raya shared a glare before going after each other, their swords clashing and creating a spark.

Bao looked around in fear as his people ran for their lives from the Drunn. He looked around until he noticed Raya's friends. "Tong!" He called for the large Spine warrior. The large man and the small Tail boy turned and saw the Fang soldier.

Boun glared at the teen. "You! What do you want?" He asked angrily as Bao ran toward them. "W-where's Raya?" He asked. Boun glared harder. "Why do you need to know? You broke her heart and betrayed us. We were wrong to trust someone from Fang" Boun said. Noi made noises of agreement. Bao sighed frustrated. He knew they held anger for him because of what he done, both betraying them and breaking Raya's heart.

"Look, I know you're mad at me but we need to work together. I know we have our differences and I know what I did. But please, I care about Raya as much as you do..." he paused. They looked at him, not believing him. "I love her. Okay? Now, we need to save the world. We need to put our differences aside!" Bao pleaded. The team stared in shock at his words. Boun turned his head when he noticed Raya and Namaari fighting.

"Raya!" He called for her. Bao looked and saw the two princess' fighting. "Oh no... Look, you get everyone out, I'll try to grab Raya" Bao ordered. The trio looked at him before nodding. This was for the world. However, before Bao could go to Raya, he felt Boun grab his forearm.

"Don't mess this up binturi" he glared before giving him a piece of the dragon gem and running with the others. Bao looked at the small piece of a moment before running up the stairs.

Meanwhile, Raya and Namaari were still fighting. Their swords clashed and they knocked each other down. Namaari's fighting was getting sloppier while Raya's blows were getting stronger. She used the anger and regret she's pent up for the past 6 years in their fight. Each blow was for everything. For her Ba, for Heart, for Namaari betraying her, and for Bao breaking her heart.

Soon, Namaari's sword was knocked out her hand and she was kicked down by Raya's boot. She hit the floor with a huff and the pendent skitted across the floor. She quickly grabbed the piece of jewelry. 

She huffed as she held it close. "I never meant for any of this to happen" she breathed. Raya raised her sword. "Liar!" She yelled and before she could bring down her weapon, she heard a voice.
