Yoongi was against me confronting Mark. I knew his reasonings, but I explained that if I didn't take care of it Mark will never let me go.
Kim was more supportive, adding that we could easily add BigHit body guards and security to accompany me.
Tag understood, siding with Kim. He even offered to escort me. To where? Well, that still needed to be determined.
Sitting on the couch in my bare apartment I was struck with the realization that no one could come with me. I'd have to confront Mark alone. Doing what I thought was best in the moment months ago, I realized that I had only dragged this on longer, involving people who could get hurt as well.
"I'm so sorry," I stand, facing my group of support. "I brought this here, to you guys. I'm so sorry..." my eyes fill with tears again.
"No, no... "Yoongi says as her envelopes me in a hug. "I'm glad your here. That you're with me..."
"Yeah, Soya, " Kim said, coming over to my side and touching my arm, still wrapped around Yoongi's neck. "You shouldn't have to do this alone. You were so brave to try and get away..."
"Not to mention, " Tag adds, while not approaching me, stands tall and confident by the kitchen "if it wasn't you, it would be someone else, I'm just happy you've made it out alive and that you've made it here. As a group we can figure out the best corse of action to keep Mark from hurting you or anyone else ever again."
I stiffled my tears, relaxing my grip around Yoongi's neck. I had realized in the last few months I've met some of the best people. Yoongi looks at me and nods silently his agreement to Tag's words.
"Thanks, you guys. I love you all. I think I just need some rest..." I stumble, my nerves are making my voice shake. "I think I want to lay down.." I say, sitting back down on the couch. Yoongi grabs one of my only two blankets and sits next to me, I rest my head on his shoulder as he tucks the blanket around us.
" Good call, some rest will definitely help clear our heads. We can brainstorm more ideas tomorrow" Kim agrees, kissing me on the forehead and grabbing the spare blanket. "Try and get some sleep, Okay?" She says as her and Tag walk off into my room.
"Okay," I quietly agree, already half way asleep. Yoongi nuzzles into my hair as his body relaxed, his breathing slowed. This day had really taken it's toll on his already overworked body and mind.
*
I awake in a start. Looking around in a panic, sweat dripping from my forehead. Yoongi was gone.
"Yoongi... " I whisper in a quiet, frantic tone
"I'm right here..." he confirms. I turn and see him standing in the kitchen, "I was just getting something to drink, but you've got nothing..."
"I'm sorry," I mumble in a dreamy confusion.
"It's fine," he says quietly, walking back to me. " I'll just order something in the morning " he plops down and pulls me close. "You know, you can stay with me at my place for a bit. The other members won't be back for another week or so. I'd rather you not be by yourself." He planted a light kiss on my head "plus, you have basically nothing here..."
"You wouldn't get annoyed with me?" I wonder outloud to him as I lean into his body.
"Never." He whispered back to me. Our lips meet in a gentle, confronting kiss. His arms wrapped around me in a tight embrace. "Plus maybe Kim can move in, like she mentioned, and kind of... spruce up the place a bit... maybe give her and Tag some privacy for a week"
"Yeah, good idea" I smile. I laid my head on Yoongi's chest as he gently strokes my hair. Thoughts of a week alone with Yoongi in his glamorous doorm alone sound like a vacation. I start to drift off to sleep thinking of another bath in his amazing bathtub when I hear a far out set of footsteps floowed by a shuffle.
Yoongi and I sit straight up on alert. We listen for the shuffling and the footsteps and notice that they are right outside my front door. We look over to see something like a piece of paper appear under the door. We wait a few second to make sure the footsteps have completely dissapered before tip toeing to the front door and see a small envelope. Yoongi grabs it and opens it with one rip.
Meet me in the small park outside your apartment tomorrow at 1pm. Come alone. No police. Leave your cellphone. Can't wait to see you - Love, Mark
"Well. That isn't going to happen.." Yoongi mumbled.
" No, Yoongi, I need to do this. I have to confront him" I say, an idea forming in my mind as I take the note from his hands and re read it silently to myself a few more times. "I'll do it, but I need you to do something for me.."
"Okay..." agrees Yoongi, hesitantly. "But I can't risk..."
I place a finger to his lips. "I have an idea, but I'll need you..." I remove my finger and place a quick kiss. "I'll need you to trust me."A sly smile forms on Yoongi's lips, replacing the anxiety that had shown moments before. He leans in and kisses me, his hands grabbing me tightly and pulling me close to him. My sudden confidence radiating though my body as I pull him to the couch to have him.
Sleep never came for us that night. Planning for an idea that took over all of our energy once our bodies had finished showing what we ment to one another. As the dawn broke, our plan became more final. When Tag and Kim came out to join us and hear us out, the plan took shape. Phone calls were made and the nerves re appearing in the anticipation that this would be over soon.
