Living with the Dunphy's

Pilot

  Alright, in my family I have a grandpa named Jay. Than a young beautiful woman married him, she's my grandma. Her name is Gloria. They have a son named Manny! My moms name is Claire and my dads name is Phil. I have 2 older sisters named Haley and Alex, and a twin brother named Luke. I have an uncle Mitchell and an uncle Cam who are thinking about adopting. That's my family! It's mainly focused on the Dunphy's though.

Anyway, It was a normal day at the Dunphy house, Y/N was just playing video games as always, Hayley was texting her boyfriend, Alex was studying, and Luke- Well, Luke is just doing dumb stuff as always.

"KIDS, BREAKFAST!" Claire yelled.
"Kids?" Claire sighed.
"Phil, would you get them?" Claire asked.
"Yeah, just a sec." Phil said as he was opening the fridge to get food, Phil forgot to close the fridge door. Claire was right behind the fridge and slammed right into it!

"That is-"
Claire cut him off
"Okay."
It was a rough start to the morning
"Kids! Get down here!" Phil demanded.

Haley walked into the room.
"Why are you guys yelling at us when we're way upstairs? Just text me." She said.
"All right, that's not going to happen. And, wow! You're not wearing that outfit" said Claire as she was making breakfast.

Y/N finally came down
"Hey everyone!"
"What's wrong with it?" Haley asked.
"What's going on?" Y/N questioned.
"Mom is just getting mad at me because she hates my skirt." Haley said.
"I don't see anything wrong with it-" Y/N replied.
Claire rolled her eyes and looked at Phil

"Honey, do you have anything to say to your daughter about her skirt? Claire asked Phil.
"Sorry." Phil quickly got off his phone.
"Oh, yeah that looks really cute, sweetheart." Phil said.
"Thanks." Replied Haley.
Claire was not impressed with Phil at all.
"No. It's way too short. People know you're a girl. You don't have to prove it to them." Claire said.
"Mom it's just a piece of fabric, get over it!" Y/N said in a sassy tone.

Alex walked into the room
"Luke got his head stuck in the banister again" said Alex.
"Of course he did." Y/N sounded annoyed.
"I got it. Where's the baby oil?" said Phil while walking out of the room.
"It's on our bedside tab- I don't know. Find it." Replied Claire. Claire was clearly tired of all this chaos.
Claire then bumped into the fridge again "Come on!"

Phil & Claire's Interview : "I was out of control growing up. There you know, I said it." claire admitted.
"I- I just don't want my kids to make the same bad mistakes I made. If Haley never wakes up on a beach in Florida, half-naked, I've done my job." Claire said while nodding.
"Our job." Phil corrected her.
"Right.. I've done our job" Claire said.

"Buddy. Why do you keep getting stuck like this?" Phil said as he was trying to get Luke's head out of the banister. Y/N was standing right next to them
"I thought I could get out this time." Said Luke
"I can't believe this kid is my twin brother" Y/N said trying hard not to laugh.
"I'm just going to say it. He needs to be checked by a specialist." Alex said while walking down the stairs.
Finally, Luke's head got out.
"Ow!"
"There be free." Phil said while pulling him out.
"Excalibur" Phil said and chuckled.
Haley and Claire walked by
"I'm having a friend over today" said Haley.
"Who?" responded Claire.
"Uh, you don't know him."
"Him, him?"
"Ooh. A boy you gonna kiss him?" Luke said in a funny voice
"Shut up." replied Haley
"Easy, Easy." said Phil.

All of the Dunphy kids started arguing
"Yeah, shut up!"
"No, you shut up!"
"Luke, Alex, Y/N why don't you take it outside? Okay?" Claire was so annoyed.
"And do what?" Alex asked.
"Fight in the sun, It'll be a nice change." Phil said.
"Haley, who's the boy?"
"His name is Dylan. I might as well tell him not to come, because you guys are just gonna embarrass me again." Haley said as she was walking up the stairs.
"Sweetie, hang on a second. You're 15, and it's the first time you've ever had a boy over. I'm bound to be a little surprised, but I'm not gonna embarrass you."
"I better change the camcorder." said Phil.
Haley made a little whining sound "Eurghhhh"
"I'm kidding! Come on. Who are you talking to?" Said phil.
