May 2nd! Happy Birthday, Haru! I will make this official. Haru turned fifteen today! May he live many happy years in the future as a fanfic character! (did anyone else cringe at that?)
Anywho... Here's a little one-shot for you guys followed by a specially put-together government database on Haru's powers. Sorry if I don't add details like what particular Jutsu he uses because that would honestly be a lock of extra work during finals and job training, not to mention spoilers...
Also, this day and month are doubly special as it is the first Sunday of May, the month of the Holy Mother Mary. I always look to her intercession in times of danger, hardship, and difficulty. Even if you may not believe in her (and I'm not forcing you to or judge you for not believing) I pray that she would bestow her limitless blessings and graces upon each and every one of you. May your lives be full of joy, fulfillment, and peace.
Not officially in the story, but let's just say it happened.

May 2nd...
In the Bakugo household, a certain redhead was sleeping soundly in his bed.
This ended when his door was slammed open by a yelling Mitsuki
"Wake up, brat! Don't be late for school! Happy Birthday! Many happy returns! You're one day closer to death!"
Haru rose into a sitting position, reminding the mother of a zombie rising from a grave.
"..." Haru's eyes were still half shut as his brain slowly came online.
Mitsuki shook her head, "Bumi."
There was the sound of scurrying feet as the Shiba Inu bolted through the doorway and took a flying leap at the bed. Haru gasped as the air was knocked out of his lungs and he was sent sprawling on his bed, his eyes now wide open.
"What's the date?" he finally managed.
"May 2nd."
Haru pushed the panting Bumi from off his stomach, not registering any significance. He noticed his mother's fixed stare.
"What?"
"I said, the date was May 2nd."
"I heard the first time. Was it important?"
Mitsuki looked at him as if he was stupid.
A lightbulb went off in Haru's mind, "Oh yeah, it's the anniversary of our getting Bumi!" he picked up his pet's paws in his hands, speaking in a baby tone, "Did I forget that? You figure me, don't you?"
Bumi actually deadpanned, looking at his master with a very judgmental look.
Haru sweatdropped. Why is this happening to me?

Later at school...
Haru was confused. For some reason, everyone at home seemed to expect Haru to remember something. It also seemed to be important. However, when he made it clear he had forgotten (he did not believe in pretending to know what others were talking about and ultimately looking stupid) they had somehow dodged answering him.
