East vs. West [boyxboy]

Chapter 2

Eden's POV

Then  I crash my lips onto his.

It takes a second for him to register what's happening. When he does register he kisses me back.  I pull away from the kiss before he gets too far with it. I quickly grab my things and run out of the building. He's right behind me; he stops me from getting into my truck. "What?" I glare at him.

"What was that?" I turn to look at him. His eyes are dark and his hair is messed up as if he ran his finger through it. "What was what?" I look at him innocently. He groans and backs away. I get in my truck and drive off. 

When I get home I strip into my boxers and flop on my bed. My twin sister, Andrea, walks into my bedroom. "What's up, doc?" She says. I glare at her, "Get outta my room." She scoffs and walks out. I plug in my phone and fall asleep.

I wake up the next morning to my alarm blaring in my ear. I groan and turn it off. Andrea comes storming into my bedroom. "Next time you decided to sleep with your light on at least have the audacity to close your door!"

I roll my eyes and throw a pillow at her; I get up and walk to the closet. I put on some clothes and walk to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and run my fingers through my hair. I grab my stuff and walk downstairs to my truck. 

I start the truck and drive to school. A text message pops up on my phone as I pull into school. 

Miles: We need to talk. ASAP. Meet me for lunch

Me: Oh great. Just what I need.

I turn off the ignition and get out. I walk into school and to my locker. I get through the first half of the day. Then I remember that I told Miles I'd meet him for lunch.

Me: Where are we meeting?

Miles: The diner on the fifth and sixth street

Me: Really? Fine. Be there in a few

I get into my truck and drive to the location Miles has told me to go to. I have no idea what's to come.
