Scarlett POV
I take a seat next to Pearl and our knees brush against one another making me blush slightly. I take the bunny blood out of my purse and have a sip of it before noticing Seb's disgusted face, "What?"

"Are you on some vegan diet or something? Why are you drinking animal blood?" He asks as he drinks his human blood bag.

"I'm a ripper like my sister." I reply and a look of recognition sweeps over his face.

"Holy shit, you're Rosabella Addington's sister; the one who stopped the feud between vampires and werewolves!" He exclaims and I can't help but roll my eyes.

"Yup." I state bluntly and he begins to rant about my sister making me sigh to myself.

"Calm down fanboy." Pearl rolls her eyes before placing a comforting hand on my knee, immediately causing butterflies to rise in my stomach, "She's not Rosa, she's Scar; that's better." I smile at her words and she returns it.

"Lo siento, Scar" he says with a sheepish smile and I just tell him it's fine before continuing to feed. (I'm sorry, Scar)

"So have you got a song planned for tonight?" Angie asks me while taking a drink of sparkling water.

"Yeah I-" I'm cut off from my sentence by the high pitched voice of witch bitch, Lilia.

"Another acoustic love song, Scarlett?" She asks mockingly to which I reply with,

"At least I'm capable of love, it's better than sleeping with the entire football team." Only now did I notice Lia stood hesitantly behind her, a guilty look on her face as she glances at me.

"Wait isn't Ace on the football team, I thought he was with Aurelia." Seb buts in confused which I happily clear up,

"Like I said, the entire football team." I hear a gasp behind me before turning to see Lia running out the room with Lilia following her.

"Anyway as I was saying," I continue, ignoring the looks on my friends faces, "I'm singing something a little different tonight so that it will shut Lilia up, mind if I borrow your band Pearly?" I asks and she says it's fine.

"Wait, why are you singing? I'm so confused."

"Every night, the academy has a karaoke night; I usually perform as does Pearl, and so do the Lunar twins."

"What about you Angie?"

"No, I have stage fright." Angie answers meekly.

"Fair enough." He replies with a smile before continuing, "I sound like a strangled cat when I sing so I think I'll try out for the football team."

"Just don't sleep with witch bitch, you might catch something." Pearl says with a smirk as I snicker.

"Don't worry I won't, also don't look now but Mr Golden boy is totally checking out our Angel right now." He says as he catches sight of Arlo.

"Holy shit, he is!" I squeal gaining a light slap on the head,

"I said don't look now! Ay dios mio." Seb shakes his head and I send him a playful glare. (Oh my God)

"Don't be ridiculous, he's way out of my league."

"Hey Angie, why don't you just go talk to him?" I ask reassuringly.

"Are you stupid? Why would I go over there for him to reject me; why don't you go talk to whoever your writing love songs about and tell them you like them? Just stop trying to get in my business Scar." She retorts making my eyes widen.

"Hey, don't talk to her like that!" Pearl speaks up in my defence.

"Yeah, don't swing this around on me, I was only trying to help." I say while standing up.

"Where are you going?" Seb asks worriedly.

"To the music room." I reply before leaving.

Pearl's POV
I watch as my best friend leaves the room before turning around with a sigh, "Seriously?"

"What? I didn't mean to snap at her." Angie replies and I just shake my head.

"It doesn't matter Angie, you know how sensitive she is. She may act all big and tough but we both know that she's not."

"I'm sorry okay, I'll apologise to her later on."

I nod in reply and Seb speaks up, "Why don't you go after her?"

"Because I know Letty, we've been friends for 7 years. She never likes getting upset in front of people, it's better to just let her cool off." I reply and he nods in agreement.

Scarlett's POV
I barge into the music room, shutting the door behind me, tears threatening to spill. Swiftly picking up a guitar, I take a seat and take a few deep breaths. I wipe under my eyes to prevent the tears from falling and sniffle slightly.

The music room has always been my safe place, back home in England I would spend hours in my little music room; whenever something happened that made me upset, I would just learn or write a new song. I hate crying in front of people but have never turned off my humanity; I've seen what it made my sister like. I pride myself on that, any hardships in my life, I have always dealt with by myself. I don't need to bother others about my problems when they have their own to deal with.

Yeah of course I'm insecure sometimes, I have doubts sometimes, obviously I'm not always happy either but I deal with everything and move on, well almost everything. I haven't quite dealt with killing the human yet but I'd rather not think about that.

Instead, I begin to think about the other thing which takes over my mind every day; my beautiful blonde best friend. Subconsciously, my fingers begin to pick the tune to a song I wrote a while back which was based on a fantasy...
