I woke up to absolute silence, not even the air conditioner was on. I couldn't hear the faint hum of Karl's fan, or the sound of the washer going. Dream wasn't even snoring, but that isn't unusual. Although, the silence was interrupted by the wind and a crash of thunder.

I tried turning on the nightstand lamp, it didn't work. I assumed the power was out and slipped from the sheets, leaving Dream to sleep. I walked to the hallway to see a faint glow that would flicker a bit. I walked towards it to see Karl sitting on the couch, staring at a candle. He looked up, but looked back to the candle.

"Power is out," Karl said, "I would usually use my phone for a fan, but it's dead. Sapnap's too."

"I can see if mine is charged, or Dream's if mine isn't," I said, walking back to Dream's room. I walked over to my phone tapping it. My phone was at 25%. I took it and went over to Dream's phone, tapping his. His phone was at 50%. He had a weather alert, so I unlocked his phone.

"Hurricane..." I whispered, "sorry Dream, Karl needs your phone more." I kissed his forehead, took his phone, and walked back to Karl.

"Good news, bad news," I said, "good news, Dream's phone is at 50% but mine is at 25%. Bad news, Dream got a weather alert saying this is a hurricane." I tossed over Dream's phone

"What's the category?" Karl asked, taking his phone, "doesn't say, great. Thanks though."

"Do you know if anyone else is up?" I asked, "or did you just come here?"

"Just came here, didn't want to wake anyone," Karl said.

"Ok, I'll go check the others, you try and sleep," I said. I left him to Dream's phone as I went to go check on the others. I knocked on Wilbur's door, opening it. I heard him say to enter, so I did. He was on his phone, but looked up.

"Might not want to waste your battery," I said, "don't know when the power will be on again."

"I have a portable charger," Wilbur said, holding up the charger.

"Might want to save that too," I said, "supposedly we're in a hurricane."

"Oh lovely, weather we rarely get in England," Wilbur said, "any idea if the children are awake?"

"No, I haven't checked on them, or Phil," I said, "Karl is in the living room trying to sleep, Dream is asleep, and I suppose Sapnap is too."

"Tubbo might be awake, since he's a bit afraid of thunderstorms," Wilbur said, "I don't know about the others."

"Mk, try and get some sleep though," I said, "it'll make the weather pass by faster. I'm sure if there's any problems, we'll wake everyone up."

"Good idea," Wilbur said, "try not to kill me, I don't want to die by the weather."

"I'll make sure Tommy will stab you first," I said, "on a serious note, I'll try not to." I left him to sleep, walking to Tommy's room. A crash of thunder sounded through the house, slightly shaking the house. I winced, hoping Tubbo was okay. I entered Tommy's room, not bothering to knock. Tommy was sitting up sleepily. Tubbo was in his lap, hugging him. Tommy looked up to see me, giving a look of "help me" and looked down to Tubbo.

"Is Tubbo okay?" I asked. Tubbo looked up at his name, fear blazed in his eyes. He buried his head in Tommy's lap. Tommy shook his head.

"The thunder is getting to him," Tommy said, "this isn't a thunder storm though."

"It's scary either way," Tubbo said, squeaking at the thunder.

"Why don't you come with me, Tubbo?" I asked, holding out my arms, "I can have someone to cuddle with then." He looked up, hesitated, then grabbed his bee. He climbed out of Tommy's lap, making his way to my arms. I wrapped him in a hug, looking up to Tommy.

"I'm stealing him. Try and get some sleep," I said, guiding Tubbo out, "I have to check on Phil first, then we can go cuddle on the couch, alright?" Tubbo nodded, clinging onto my arm. I went to Phil's room, knocking. I entered the room, seeing him asleep.

"Guess I can't run to Phil this time," Tubbo whispered, I nodded, "that's okay, Dream and Sapnap are the people we'd run to if this gets worse. Let's leave him alone now." I closed the door, walking back down the stairs. Dream walked out the hall, rubbing his eyes.

"Oh hi," Dream said, "power out?" I nodded, taking Tubbo to the couch. Karl was knocked out, Dream's phone still playing the fan noise.

"I stole your phone for Karl," I said, sitting down. I let Tubbo move to my lap and wrap around me.

"What's up with those two?" Dream asked.

"Storm is scaring Tubbo, so I'm letting him cuddle with me," I said, "Karl was awake when I got up, he couldn't sleep since his phone died."

"I don't think this is a storm," Dream said, "more like a hurricane, category 2 maybe 3."

"Oh the expert," I said, "but seriously, I have no idea what to do so I'm here." Dream sighed sitting beside me and Tubbo.

"Usually they have warnings and ask you to leave," Dream said, "I guess since we're stuck in this, the best thing is to shelter. Karl's room is probably the best option at the moment."

"And how are we getting everyone there?" I asked, "Phil is asleep, Wilbur was awake, and Tommy is awake."

"Depending on who went back to sleep, carry them," Dream said, shrugging, "we have to get Patches downstairs too."

"I can get Karl, Tubbo, and Patches there if you can get the rest," I said, he shrugged. Dream went upstairs to wake the others while I shook Karl awake. I took both Karl and Tubbo to Karl's room, Karl letting Tubbo sit in his lap. I looked for Patches, finding her eating in the laundry room.

I carried her to the basement, setting her down. She ran to the couch, jumped up, and made herself comfy on a blanket. Dream walked down the stairs, carrying Tommy. Everyone made themselves comfy, or at least tried to.

Karl had passed out whatever blankets he could find. Dream retrieved spare pillows from the closet before laying with me. I was waiting on him, mostly to use him as a pillow. The others made temporary beds and went to sleep, waiting out the storm.
