chapter 7

Jared's P.O.V.

This is gonna be a beautiful night.  Its crazy how life can bring you into someone's life and not even know what will happen next. I guess that's the thrill of jumping in heart first. She got under my skin and it all started with a look in her eyes.  I had a business meeting tomorrow so I can't make this to late.  I pull up to her address  and I notice she's in a hotel.  Why is she living in a hotel? 

Knocking on her door,  I wait for her to come down.  I can only imagine what shes wearing , I bet she's still getting ready as I think about it.   The door opens and I look up and I'm thrown back onto my ass.  She's stunning wearing a pair of tight jeans and pink top with silver trim off the shoulder.  I watch her smile and it makes my heart feel something it hasn't in quite awhile,  happiness. A stranger has captured my heart,  I don't say anything or dare speak of it for fear she will run.  I've had that done to me way to many times.  Never again. 

Julie " hello ".  Me" you look beautiful ".   Auh there's her peach cheeks lighting up again.   Julie " thank you!  You look good too ".   I hug her tight and say softly in her ear " you smell amazing ".  She giggles and its so cute to me.  Julie " you know what your doing ".   I rub her back and hold her tighter.   Me" ready to go? ".     Julie " yes ".    I let her go and we head to my car I open my door,  she sits down.  

As I drive down the freeway,  I look over and I know I have to hurry up I can't let the sun go down without doing this suprise for her.  Me" you hungry?  ".      She looks at me and says " yes I am,  what do you have in mind? ".    Oh you just wait.  We arrive at the dock and she looks around and wonders why we are here with a bunch of boats.  Me" its not what you think ".    Julie gets out and I follow close behind her and then......she sees why I brought her here.  Me" you like it? ".   In front of her is a table with two candles and a vase of orchids and a man  standing by the table.   Julie " is he eating with us? ".     I grab her hand and kiss it to my lips.  I was hoping not rush this and make her not come near me again. 

We sit and the waiter pours a glass of white wine for the both of us.  Me" he works for me ".  Julie" wow! That's impressive ".   Me" thank you , I earn every penny I have.  I built my company and all my brands from the ground up. I grew up with nothing I'm grateful for all I have ".   Julie " that's great,  im happy for you ".  Me " money doesn't impress you does it? ".    Julie " not really?  My father made money I've worked multiple jobs,  I want to help others rather than hog the wealth for myself ".   Me " you think im greedy? ".   Julie " you said that,  what I mean is that its the little things that make me happy ".   She looks at me with those sparkling hazel eyes.  I've only seen them in my brothers eyes,  no other person beside him had that shade I was used to blue eyes.  This was a beautiful change. 

Julie " Jared? ".   I hadn't notice I'd been staring at her all this time.  I couldn't help it she was hypnotic and drew me into a deep trance I couldn't snap out of.  Me" I'm sorry,  shall we eat? ".   Dinner arrives and so does the surprise.   The look on her face is priceless.  Julie " its beautiful! ".    I bought her a large vase filled  pink orchids,  white lillies and purple lavender.   She smells it and her eyes close.  She likes it and it floors me. 

We enjoy our feast and watch as the sun dips down below the ocean.   One more suprise.  As we leave,  I grab her hand in mine and we lace our fingers together.  It feels sweet her soft tips brushing against my masculine hand. At the car before i open her door to let her in,  I steal a chance for a kiss.  Holding her face in my two hands,  I taste her wine and feel her arms wrap around my body.  We melt into each other and drink from the well of passion with each kiss. The night isnt over just yet.
