chapter 5

God its hot out today this California heat is out of control!  Thank god for the beach!   Later on I had to get signed up for my classes and get a room on campus. I sure hope maybe I can just get an apartment quick have my own space.   I had to make the best of what I was dealt.

Ack! What the?   The sun had the person in front of me blinded and I couldn't make out a face but when they bent down I could see,  my heart stopped.  Jared" Well look at what treasure I have found on this beach,  quite  beautiful day to come to here to find you ".   Me" hello again,    What brings you here? ".  He sat down and smiled. Jared" need a break from the monotonous,  fresh air and new company,  exactly what I need "   He was making me blush,  I was hoping he couldn't tell.  Jared " you always blush when someone sits this close to you? ".    I looked away and laughed.  Me" no..... Not always " His finger traced  over the sensitive area of  my neck , giving me  goose bumps.  Shiver raced across my skin in seconds. 

Jared " you going to sit here on the beach all day or jump in the water? ".   I thought about it and it was a no brainer.  I took off my towel to reveal my bikini and his stare was burning right through me.  I felt naked by his eyes on me.  Jared " that's more like it ".  He jumped up and we raced down to the water , not caring about the rest of the people on the sand around us.  The waves crashed onto both of our bodies and the water felt so warm and looking back at him,  was also making me feel warm all over.  His perfection had me jealous and in the back of my mind I wondered,  maybe this was serendipity and fortuitous. 

I caught a wave so strong it,   knocked me over pushing him over on  top of me.  We just stared in each others eyes and just then,  I remembered ,  I had a appointment to get too soon.  Jared" I wanna ask you to dinner tonight ".  Me" you don't even know me though ".  He leaned in and I felt his breath on my ear,  oh god!     Jared" let me get to know you then ".    His long fingers cupped my face and held my head above the water.   He was doing things to my mind and I tried to speak, my body was weak at his touch &   I couldn't scrape together one single word. 

He helped me up to my feet and we walked up to the sand again.   Grabbing my towel he held his around his body and looked up the sky.  Jared " is that a yes or no? ".    Me" ok,  I will go but just dinner ".  Jared " of course what kind of man do you think I am? ".  Me" I don't know now do I? ".  I winked at him and he laughed.  His laugh was infectious.  Me" don't you have a line of girls waiting for you? ".   Jared " me?  Yes but...... I would rather be the predator then the prey ".   Oh god that was sexy.  Please god don't let me blush and him see.

Jared " you blush quite a bit don't you around guys? ".   Me" no I don't!  You dont know that ".   Jared " that's the second time you have with me.... I find it sexy ".   Sexy?  Me?  That word never was pinned on me.  This is a first !    Jared" well this was fun,  I'm looking forward to tonight, should we meet somewhere or..... ".   I gathered all my things and said " a real gentlemen picks a lady up and drives her to dinner ".   He stood right in front of me looking deep in my soul.  Jared " where do you live?  What kind of flowers are your favorite?".     Well now we are talking! I put my address and phone number  in his blackberry and we parted ways.

I reach my car getting inside to head off to  the college, when I suddenly hear " ding".   Who is this?  I glance down and its him. Jared" I hope you like sunsets,  I have an idea for dinner ".   Oh now he had my mind reeling!  What was he up to?
