Jared was beside himself wanting to know where I had gone to. He stepped  out of his  shower and picked up the towel dried off and sat on his bed. He glanced at his phone and debated weather to call me or not. Maybe she just couldn't handle that side of me ? I should probably find someone else that's not such a prude. Someone more risque like I am. Nope! I'm not gonna call her she can just be on her merry way.

Meanwhile back at my house, My company and I were enjoying our lunch. Shannon " so how have you been? ". I smiled and could feel the warmth in his voice unlike Jared's, his was genuine. Me" been better but I'm ok, how are you how's things with the love of your life". He raised an eyebrow and said" do I sense jealousy? ". Me" not in the least bit, I was just asking if your happy that's all ". Shannon " I'm very happy, how about you and my brother? ". Me" don't wanna talk about it ". He raised his coffee to his lips and I couldn't help but sneak a peak over at him. He had a nice set of lips. I wasn't gonna jump  his bones, I wasn't after getting laid in the least bit. Sex disgusted me after what I had witnessed. I was turned off to the sex world. Shannon " what happened? ". I got up from the table and poured myself some more coffee. Shannon " he took you to his club didn't he? ". I wanted to vomit just to think about it once again. Shannon " its ok, I don't blame you, he's lost a lot of women because of it ". Me" he did one more on top of them too ". Shannon " he had a good heart though, I wouldn't give up on him just yet ". I grabbed us a dish for some frozen yogurt and served up enough for us both.

Shannon " if he calls or comes by what are you gonna do then? ". Me" ignore him, can I tell you something? Actually.... Maybe i shouldn't...never mind ".

Shannon started to eat his desert when his phone went off and I knew he would have to leave. That was my way out. Shannon instead of answering , he silenced it. Me" why did you do that? ". Shannon " why do you care so much? ". Me " I don't, maybe you should go. I have to get ready for school". Shannon " its Saturday darlin ". Darlin? Me" well I still have other things to do? ". Shannon " what lay in bed all day? ". Me" and what if I  want to? ". Shannon " hey! I'm not saying you can't ". He looked at me up and down and now was the time to tell him, a stranger whom I actually trusted non the less, my secret . Shannon " so about this thing you wanna tell me about, are you like married or something? Secret child somewhere he doesn't need to know about what's the big..... ". Me " I'm a virgin ". I tuned around and waited for him to laugh and make fun of me. But to my surprise, he got up and came over to me placing his hands on my knees as he crotched down looking up at me. Shannon " your embarrassed by that? Why is that a big secret its not a bad thing ". Me" it is when your taken to a sex club ". Shannon " I see what you mean, hey if you don't wanna tell him then don't, its your business, tell him whenever you are ready ". Me" I'm happy you understand, but he would leave me to find someone that's more let's say "experienced ".  He touched my shoulder and I flinched and just wanted to be left alone. Me" maybe you should go ". Shannon " I think I should stay, your feeling down and I wanna be there for you ". And once again his phone went off.

He got up and grabbed it, this time it was martine. Shannon" yep I'm kinda busy but, I will meet you for dinner tonight how about that, ok.... Talk soon...bye ". He came over and sat down again. Me " I'm happy being single anyhow that way i don't have to ever....". Shannon " that's kinda a juvenile way of approaching it don't you think? ". I was offended. Shannon " did I say something?". Me" actually you did so can you please leave". Now he was laughing and finished his coffee and got up from his chair grabbing his keys. Shannon" I was just trying to be a friend that's all". Me" I have a best friend, but thank you. I bet she would love your company right now !Its not cool you didn't just leave when you asked her to she deserves better than that ". Shannon " its my relationship, keep your nose out of it ". Me" she's my best friend ". Shannon " yea I think I have the upper hand now don't I ". He winked at me and left my home.

I had enough of men for the day ! If Jared never calls I'm good! I don't need a man no how. But life had other ideas. Buzzzzzz ring ring ring! I picked  up hoping its my bestie, well so much for that wish. Me" hello ". Jared " why did  you leave? ". I took a deep breath , but  didn't tell him my secret though  I crumbled and only said " i just  wasn't feeling well , I'm sorry ". There goes the independent woman motto I was gonna wave my flag at proudly. Jared " I wanna see you again, now if that's ok ". Me" ok, I'm at home ". Jared " I'm coming over, dont move a muscle ". Me" ok see you in a bit them " He hung up and I set down my phone and held my head, how would he be once its just him and I after all the club issues. I'd soon find out
