"What are you d-doing here?" The man almost raised an eyebrow with what she said but managed to show a poker face.

How could she ask that when what he did was literally drive to the hospital in a few minutes which was supposed to be an hour of travel when her secretary called and told him what happened?

He saw how the lady was fidgeting in her seat and he admits she looked... cute.

"Are you mad at me?" She whispered and he wanted to answer her but he himself didn't know if he was or wasn't so he kept quiet.

He was curious of what she was gonna do when she suddenly sat up and stared at him.

She suddenly started acting cute. Giving him her signature gummy smile, she held up two peace signs with her hands and closed her eyes while letting out her tongue.

After that, she made a flower cup and acted cute again.

Ahhh, she must be trying a way out with her cuteness.

He actually almost smiled at this that he had to cover his lips with his hands and tried hard to show that he didn't care but deep inside he was about to explode with her cuteness.

"I'll put a curse on you!" She said with a baby voice while pointing at him and she literally looked like a five year old playing princesses and witches.

Unknown to him, he actually displayed a small smile. Though it wasn't really something you can notice.

The woman sighed before looking at the bedside table. She smiled when she saw a what seemed to be a bunny hat that the ears will go up and down once she presses something in the dangling part of the hat.

She gave off a wary smile before playing with the hat. She looked at him warily so he again let out a small smile but no emotions were shown in his face.

The lady stopped and took off the hat. They were silent for a few moments until the lady looked at again.

"Ah, darling. I don't know!" She said cutely and even jokingly hit him with her arm while her head was tilted to the side.

With a hand against his face he finally let out a genuine smile. Who wouldn't when your fiancé suddenly called you darling?

The woman smiled at her and put her hands into fists, swinging it up and down and smiling at him.

"You're not mad anymore? Hmmm?" She asked cutely so he laughed before nodding.

The lady bounced before hugging him and jokingly bit his shoulder.

The man immediately groaned before holding her the waist and biting her earlobe.

"Don't start with me Ruby, you're still not well" he uttered with a dangerous voice so she immediately stopped at just smiled at him cutely.

"Why did you go to work hmmm? And the Jim told me you haven't eaten anything since lunch yesterday" he was obviously mad at this so she gulped before explaining to him.

"I was waiting for you and you're secretary called me..." He furrowed his brows at this. He didn't remember anything about his secretary calling her.

"She said you were sleeping and she told me to stop calling and texting you because you were tired and you had to talk privately with her...." She purposely trailed off, wanting him to continue and maybe explain.

"You're lying, aren't you?" She shook her head.

She even took her phone and showed him her call log. His phone was the last one registered in phone calls so he furrowed his eyebrows at this.

"It doesn't show in mine" he also took his phone and what greeted her was all of her miss calls but there was no sight of a registered call.

"Then why would she do that?" She had this feeling again. She wasn't supposed to feel this but she did.

"I'm sure she just wanted to lessen my stress. Plus, it was a busy day yesterday so I couldn't answer your calls and texts hence I couldn't come home early" he said, now sitting beside her and hugging her.

She knew that he wanted his secretary to come clean to her so she just nodded but she was gonna figure out what that secretary of his really wants.

After 24 hours of staying in the hospital she already went home and decided to take leave again for 2 weeks.

Thrill also didn't go to work and dedicated his time for her. It was already Sunday and they were spending their time lazily.

It was already 8 am but they didn't have their breakfast yet. The both of them were still in bed cuddling with each other.

"Charm?" She called her out and he habitually kissed her forehead before asking her what she wanted.

"I'm hungry..." The man smiled before standing up and carrying her to the kitchen.

He settled her at the kitchen counter before kissing her again.

"Tell me what you want and I'll have it delivered here" he said but the lady immediately shook her head.

"Cook for me"

He coughed at what he heard before rubbing the back of his neck.

"I don't know how to cook"

"Well then learn how to cook!" The lady demanded as if it was that simple.

"Then why don't you cook?" The man argued and the lady rolled her eyes.

"I don't know how to cook too" the man smiled at this before showering her with kisses.

"Then learn how to cook!" He said mockingly but immediately regretted it when she kicked his knee.

"Just because I'm a lady doesn't mean I have to be the one who has to learn it! You learn how to cook!" She said with her brows furrowed while pouting.

Having the both of them not knowing how to cook was indeed a problem. So he resorted in the best way possible.

"Get dressed, we're gonna learn cooking"
