All he ever wanted was a peaceful life— and trust me he did. He did not until today wherein a random woman— a beautiful random woman as his brain says— barged in his office, claiming him to be his 'future husband'.

He was sitting in his office chair while looking at the woman who was in front him with no emotion on her face.

"I'm really sorry but last time I checked I was not engaged or whatsoever to somebody"

He said with certainty but his eyes were showing confusion and bewilderment while his mind was in a turmoil— giving off a sarcastic laugh in his mind.

"Then check again. I am Jade Rossworth and you are my future husband"

She confidently said and even gave him a little smile. The man was thinking of how to decline— clear the misunderstanding with the woman in the nicest way possible but hearing how confident she was, he knew that the woman knows what she's doing.

"Okay..." He cleared his throat before voicing out his thoughts "What's my name?" He can sense the confusion from the girl but he had to make sure she wasn't mistaken.

"Thrill Beischel, 27 years old. CEO of Beischel's biggest company and shareholder of every business branch in the world which is if I'm not mistaken, over a hundred branches in the Philippines, twenty branches in the States and many, many more worldwide"

She stated confidently but the man was no where near surprised at what he heard. Everyone knew that and he was expecting her to say it.

A lot of women has already tried to lure him into marrying them so this was not new to him anymore. But this woman right here was the first and only one who ever dared barge into his office.

"Miss..." He purposely trailed off to let her say her name as he was too busy thinking that he didn't clearly hear her name.

"Rossworth"

"Miss Rossworth, I would like to clarify that-" she didn't let him finish his words and the reason left him in awe.

"Actually call me miss Jade. My surname is gonna be Beischel sooner or later so you shouldn't get use to Rossworth"

"Who told you that we're getting married?

"Myself, your parents, my parents, and the news"

"My parents? The news?" He immediately opened his phone hoping that what he was thinking wasn't true. But it looked like bad luck was on his side today.

The moment he opened his phone and went to Google to search daily news, the first article that he saw has big bold letters titled

"CEO OF BEISCHEL'S INDUSTRY AND CEO OF ROSSWORTH NATIONS— ENGAGED?"

Too pissed at what he saw, he stormed out on the woman and went into his private room— door located at the corner of his office.

He immediately dialed his parents number—his father's number as he was sure his mother will just curse at him for calling at such time.

It was currently more or less 10 in the morning and as his parents lives in New York it's supposed to be 10 in the evening there.

After three rings his father answered the phone and he gave no time for his father to talk and asked right away.

'hel-'

"Who said I'm getting married?"

'married? I though you didn't want to be married? Why are you bringing this up now?'

'Honey? Who is that? What marriage are you talking about?'

'Thrill said he's getting married'

'married? How?'

"Mom, Dad. I'm not getting married. I'm asking you both, who said I'm getting married? A random woman barged in my office saying I was his future husband and I asked her who told her about it she answered that it was my parents, her parents, and even the news knows about it! While me! The 'supposedly' groom doesn't have a single idea about it!"

'A random woman? Kindly tell me the name dear'

He sighed as his father was nowhere to be heard in the call and he figured out that his Mom might have kicked out his Father so have a 'private' talk with his son.

"Jade? Jade Rossworth" he sighed her name as he sat down the couch while massaging the center of his forehead out of stress.

'Oh yes! I know her! We accepted her proposal yesterday?'

"Proposal?! Why would you accept a proposal without my consent?! And shouldn't she propose to me? And not my family?"

'Oh dear, I didn't know that she meant a real proposal! Oh hahaha silly me! She just told us yesterday that she had a proposal and told us she has already sent the papers! We even asked you about it yesterday and you told us you signed it already! I didn't know it was a marriage proposal! Hahahaha'

His mother laughed elegantly and there's him, sitting on the couch who can't even show a bit of emotion on his face remembering they're interaction yesterday.

'Sir? There's some papers that was sent for you to sign. I haven't read it yet sir but it seemed important as your parents themselves asked about it'

He was tired from work. He had to sign a lot of paper works and from morning to afternoon his schedule was packed with meetings.

Without reading the documents, he took a pen and searched for the blank space at the end of the paper where he could sign it and filled it up with his signature.

He sighed before putting it back to the brown envelope and gave it back to his secretary. He was almost sure that they were just some documents that was needed to be signed for whatever business in the States.

'Give it back to whoever brought it or just mail it to them. Tell them i've already signed it'

'But sir, shouldn't you read the documents? I didn't really know who it came from and your parents just called to as about the documents-'

'It's fine, it's just business from States. Nothing to worry about so just send it back'

"Mom? I need to go mom, I need to clarify stuff with my 'visitor'"

He said so sarcastically and told his goodbyes to his mother before hanging up.

He went out of his room and saw Jade sitting on his office chair while typing something on his computer.

Does he like it when strangers touch his stuff without permission?

No

Does he like it when someone sits on his chair other than him?

No

Was he mad seeing the woman doing so?

No

Why?

He was too enthralled with her side profile. He leaned against the door frame and took some time to stare at her before unknowingly speaking.

"You're beautiful"
