KUROO, WAIT!

I woke up the next day lying next to Kuroo on the floor. When my eyes finally processed it, a vibrant red was stamped onto my face, as I started panicking.

"EHHHH?! WHAT WAS YOU- I- WE-," I tried to make out a sentence but failed miserably.

Kuroo stretched his arms out quite confused, but then realised why I'd be so embarrassed.

"Oh hah, you did ask me to sleep with you.. did you?"

"Nononono!" I shook my head violently.

"Oh I must've been imagining things then."

"Wha—," I was fuming red by this point, "b-b-but even if I di— which I DID NOT! Why would you agree?!"

"Because you're my hug buddy." He answered, "and you wanted hugs."

"NONONONONO!! THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS!! WE DON'T SLEEP TOGETHER!!"

"Huh? When did that become a rule?" He smirked, "just be thankful I wore pyjamas, I'm not the type to wear clothes when sleeping."

I grabbed my pillow and threw it at him, "UGH, JUST..."

"Just what?" He teased.

"HOW AM I MEANT TO KNOW?! JUST GO TO SLEEP, I DON'T KNOW!" I shrieked.

I facepalmed myself after looking at my phone and seeing it was 5am.

"Well that was stupid, I woke up at 5 and I'm not tired thanks to a special someone!" I glared at Kuroo.

"I know, thanks. I'm very special, aren't I?" He joked.

"Ugh just shut up." I pouted, "anyways, you can go back to bed."

"Not without youuuu!" He whined.

"No. Way." I answered coldly and pulled his ear a bit.

"Okay! fine, fine! Ouch!" He said as I let go of his ear, "your not a hug buddy, but more of a mother at this point." He started sniffing a little. I turned around to see if he was crying but it was another joke of his, "Awww you care about me so much!" He grabbed me into a hug from behind.

"Ugh, only a bit." I was still quite angry at him.

"Only a bit?"

"..." I thought a bit before answering, "fine maybe a bit more than a bit."

He chuckled at my response, "okay wanna go out?"

"Huh? WAIT NOT AS A DATE!!" I panicked again, "Ugh, why do you have to be so pushy! You literally—," I stopped myself from saying anything else, he's having fun, how about not mentioning Sakura Y/N!

"Hmm?" He wondered why I stopped.

"Your the worst!" I wailed, "but I'll.. go, I mean what else am I gonna do?"

"Yay." He grinned, "okay I'm gonna go change into my school uniform, I'll be back."

"Okay." I smiled at his stumbling nervous body.

Taking a deep sigh, due to the crowded taxi, we arrived at a McDonald's. Embarrassed because we were in our school uniforms, we went in.

"What would you like?" Kuroo asked, "if you want we can take our food and go to a nearby park."

"Sounds good to me!" I agreed. After that I made my order and we left the McDonald's. It had a few people sitting in there, most with coffee, probably trying to use the last amount of time they have to complete some essay or something.

We strolled down the path like a lovey-dovey couple, linking hands.

"Thanks." Kuroo broke in the silence that was awkward but comforting at the same time.

"Huh?"

"After my break up, you've really made me happy," He implied, "I don't know.. ever since I saw you I've just felt so.. good, but also nervous. Is this love?"

My eyes widened at his last words, "maybe, I've been umm, I don't know, I'm not exactly nervous, but I am. It's just being with you feels different Kuroo. Sakura also annoyed me, even though I didn't know why, but I know now."

"I think I love you, Y/N." He confessed.

"This is a bit quick, huh." I chuckled, "but same, I think I love you too."

We looked into each other's eyes. I felt the red string of fate dancing around us. There were quite a few cars passing by, which was quite surprising because it was 5am. Kuroo took a step onto the road, and as he did a loud honk was heard, as both of our eyes were widened.
