Waking up in his arms was nothing short of a blessing. Aditi flipped and lay on her stomach, with her elbow supporting her chin. Her other hand gently ran over his hair. She smiled recollecting how she had always thought that this was an overrated, filmy act of affection. She craned her neck, kissing his forehead.

His face shifted probably due to the contact.

"Karan!"

"Hmm,"

Her smile widened. He was so cute. She kissed his cheek.

"Let me sleep!" He mumbled turning away.

Adiit giggled rolling to the others side and getting up. She picked up her phone to check the time. It was a few minutes past seven. She decided to quickly get ready. There was some Pooja that all the ladies had to attend. She glanced at her sleeping husband. Just two more days of him. Her smile faded. Why was she being sad for the future now? There was no point in that. She should make the most out of whatever time she had with him.

Karan had woken up to Aditi's message instead her kisses.

Aditi:

At Pooja on second floor hall. Get ready and reach the dining hall for breakfast, will meet you there.

Karan sighed. Last night the two of them had reached the room only at one in the dead of the night, tried and sleepy. He had thought they would have an intimate morning. He yawned stretching himself. He wanted to spend every minute with her until they went back to their new normal.

Aditi didn't have to stress her eyes much to find him in the dining hall. He was at the table with all her cousins. He bonded with them more than she had ever in her entire lifetime. She quickly grabbed a plate, helped herself with the serving and reached the table.

He looked up as she approached the table. His face lit up instantly, with the highlight being his wide smile. Aditi almost blushed as her cousins started commenting how "Jiju's" attention had been captured.

She glanced around, realizing she had been too involved in noticing her husband that she had not take a note of the fact that there was no space on the big round table. Even if she dragged an empty chair, she wouldn't have place to join the table.

"Di, sit on Jiju's lap!" One of her cousins teased eliciting a round of chuckles around the table.

She glanced at Karan with flushed cheeks. He subtly gestured her to come to him, before getting up and pushing back the chair he sat on.

"That would be cute but inconvenient." He remarked, pulling the chair for her to sit on, gesturing her to take the seat. She quietly took the seat.

"Morning!" He whispered, leaning on the chair behind her. His elbows on the chair's backrest.

"Morning!" She mumbled, glancing over her shoulder.

"Tea?" He asked seeing that she had no beverage.

"I already had a cup in the morning." She answered with a thankful smile.

"I will grab a cup of coffee." He said before walking away.

"Di, how did you manage to wake up so early? My legs are still hurting with last night's dancing." One of her cousin's, Roshni spoke.

Luckily for Aditi, another cousin of hers began teasing Roshni. Aditi focused on the food on her plate and hungrily ate her breakfast.

Soon after breakfast, everyone was heading their respective rooms to get dressed for the main function. As soon as Aditi stepped inside she was engulfed from behind in a hug.
