It was the next morning and Andy didn't get much of a good night sleep, every time she drifted off a loud noise of the hospital awoke her. Nurses came in every hour to check on her, several different doctors who she didn't know came to check her vitals were all still the same, they always were. Once it got to around 8am she gave up on getting any amount of extended sleep and she started to pack up her stuff and get changed. Jack had brought her bag from the station when he first arrived, it was quite a struggle putting on pants with crutches but she was too stubborn to ask for help so she made it work.

She sat back on the bed and shortly after breakfast had arrived, it was typical hospital food room temperature milk and off branded cereal with some mushy fruit. She tried her hardest to eat the food but only had a few bites and some of the juice. She knew she was going home soon so she would just get foods there. Shortly after a knock came on the door, Andy quickly threw her fingers through her hair. She had her hair naturally curly around her face, it was chestnut brown with a few golden highlights. She didn't know why she was trying to make herself look good, she definitely wasn't looking her best yesterday I'm a hospital gown and hair in a messy bun but she still wanted to look semi presentable for when her boss walks in.

"Come in" she yelled, a tall man emerged from the door way with a sad look on his face. He was looking down before he completely closed the door and looked up. Andy could see that he wasn't ok, he didn't look like he did only twelve or so hours ago. "Is everything alright?" She asked hoping he would be as open to her as he was yesterday. He looked around the room like he was looking for anything to change the subject but once he stopped and looked at her. She looked at him with concerned eyes but she looked beautiful, she was a natural beauty he thought to himself. He realised he had been staring at her and not answering her question.

"Yeah I'm. I'm okay. Have you been discharged yet" he said as he continued to look into her eyes. He tried his hardest to avoid her eyes because you could just drown in them. "No not yet but they should be here any minute hopefully. Let's just say I'm eager to get out of here" she knew he was avoiding talking to her. That had been a recurring pattern with him but she hoped he would eventually talk to her but she didn't want to push. "Yeah a hospital isn't exactly like the four seasons" he said sarcastically to her and she laughed and smirked at him. A nurse walked in and handed her her discharge papers and told her a intern will be in soon.

Robert sat on the end of Andy's bed while Andy's started to sign all the papers, there was a lot for only one night in hospital. Robert sat watching her contently until and intern walked in. "Ok ms Herrera, I'm sure you know what I'm about to say but I'll say it anyway just to be sure. For the first two weeks with your boot you will remain non weight bearing and two weeks after that you can do some weight but with your crutches still. Take it easy for the next few days you still have a concussion so some dizziness and head aches are normal. Your bruises will hurt for a while more but will heal on there own. Is there any questions?"

Andy was quite startled by all the information she was just given, not that she didn't already know all of it it's just because it all came to her at once. "Yes. Yes I understand. But can I go back to work and work desk before I get me boot off?" She knew she wouldn't be able to stay off work for that long and not go completely insane so it was worth asking. "Yes you can but after you become partially weight-bearing" he replied before taking the discharge papers from the table and giving them a reassuring smile before walking out the door.

Robert looked up at Andy who still had a concerned look in her eyes, without think he placed his hand on her thigh and gave her a reassuring smile. "You ready to go home" he said to her hoping it will cheer her up a little. "You have no idea" she stood up and grabbed the crutches and placed them underneath her armpits she was about to grab her bag but was topped by Robert's hand. "You can't walk and hold these" he said laughing slightly before throwing the bag over his shoulder. They made sure they grabbed all her belongs as they walked out the door.
