"Hey, hotshot. It's time to get up," Tony rudely shook Reinette's shoulder to wake her. She sent him a glare as she sat up and swung her legs off of the seat she was laying across. "What? Did you think I was going to carry you? C'mon."

Reinetted huffed and stood up, following after Tony, Natasha and Steve. As she looked around, she noticed that she was standing on some type of platform. The platform was on top of a building with the words "STARK ENTERPRISES" on it. And yes - she did just hitch a ride on a jet, as she had previously guessed. She followed Tony and Steve into the building while Natasha went to speak with a few people, Tony being on her right and Steve on her left.

The three of them stepped into a room with a bunch of people in it and Reinette froze as all of the attention was turned towards her. Well, all of the attention other than from one man with his nose in a book. A man with long blond hair stood up to walk over to her and gave her a charming smile.

"Greetings! I am Thor, son of Odin and God of Thunder. You are?" He took your hand to kiss the back of it.

Oh, lovely. A kind prince. Reinette internally rolled her eyes. It's not that he had done anything to annoy her, it was the fact that she was tired and just wanted food and sleep and not to be around people.

As soon as the thought flew through her head, she heard a throat being cleared and looked up to see the man with the book trying to suppress a smile. She ignore that however, a bit more preoccupied with trying to figure out how to answer Thor's question.

"Her name is Reinette Rhinehart. She's mute so she communicates through sign language, which, for you Asgardians, means that she communicates with hand signals. We found her at Hydra's base and it appears she was experimented on so please be nice to her," Natasha said as she walked in, saving Reinette from having to explain who she was.

"Mute? That means she cannot speak?" Thor asked, a small frown settling on his face. She nodded and his frown is replaced with a smile. "Well, perhaps I can learn this communication with your hands."

A few other people came up to greet Reinette and let her know who they are. So far, she has met Dr. Bruce Banner, Clint Barton, Wanda Maximoff, and Vision.

"Come, brother, meet Reinette!" Thor boomed, making her smile on the inside as she thinks, his godly specialty or whatever matches his voice for sure.

The raven-haired man who had been awfully quiet and indulged into his book lifted his eyes to meet Reinette's and she instantly got lost in the intensity of his blue eyes. "Loki."

"Brother..." Thor said in a warning tone, making Loki dramatically sigh as he stood to walk over to her.

"Greetings, mortal," Immortal, Reinette silently corrected. His eyebrow imperceivably quirked up but she ignored it once again considering how slight it was. It could be her imagination. "I am Loki of Asgard."

"He's my brother," Thor butted in, making Loki roll his eyes.

"Adopted, thank you."

Reinette looked around for Natasha and saw her having a conversation with Clint. She clapped three times, confusing the two gods in front of her, and got Natasha's attention. Reinette sheepishly waved her over and she walked over to the small mute girl and the two gods.

*Can you interpret for me?* Reinette noticed both of the gods' attention was on her and her hands. Natasha nodded so Reinette continued. *Are you Loki as in the God of Mischief?*

Natasha repeated what Reinette said out loud and she noticed Loki's stance change from annoyed to slightly on guard as if he thought she would say something to hurt him. Nonetheless, he nodded so Reinette continued.
