--Denki's POV--
Shinso left me in his room and told me to wait there, and went to the garage to grab the air pump. I sighed and flopped onto the bed, strands of my hair wandering in front of my face.
The bed had dark blue plaid covers and a light gray colored mattress, with a white pillow set down on it. There were a few plushies propped against the wall, which I found pretty cute.
I propped myself onto my palms and tilted my head back, looking around. He had a manga wall, and as far as I could recognize, there was Attack on Titan, Haikyuu, sk8 the infinity and Assassination Classroom.
Shinso came back with the air pump and I hopped off his bed. He opened his closet door and knelt down, rummaging through his closet until he pulled out a flat mattress, tossing it on the floor and clapping his hands together.
"Okay. I'll do the air pump, you hold the mattress so it doesn't slide everywhere?" Shinso asked, looking up at me,
"Sounds good!" I said, flashing a smile and hopping down.
I grabbed the mattress with both hands and Shinso looked around for the hole. After about two minutes, he finally found it and managed to get the pump inside.
--7:30 AM--
Shinso pulled the pump out of the hole and closed it. He patted the mattress to make sure there was enough air and nodded.
"Okie dokie, there ya go," he said, looking up at me with a smile.
A few strands of hair were in his face and his hair flopped forward.
"Yayy! I said, "Oh, right. Any spare pillows and covers?"
"I have one spare pillow and one weighted blanket. That good?"
"Yep!"
"God, you really thought you would just need clothes and a toothbrush?" he joked, getting up and grabbing the pillow and blanket.
I let out a chuckle and nodded. "I guess that was pretty stupid of me, huh?"
"Hey, you're not stupid. You're not Albert Einstein," Shinso said, looking back at me while setting the pillow down and spreading the blanket out while keeping his eyes locked on mine.
I didn't know what to say, so I smiled and nodded. He patted the bed and I smiled, flopping onto it face-down. Shinso went over to the window and opened it, climbing out. He jumped down and I panicked, getting up,
"Shinso?" I asked, leaning my head outside, only to realize there was a tree under the window with a large branch in width and length and I sighed in relief, "Oh thank God," I muttered,
"What? Did you really think I was crazy enough to jump from a two-story window?" he asked, looking up from standing on the branch,
"Yes, honestly,"
"Wanna come down?" he asked, motioning with his hand.
I shrugged and pushed myself up, setting my feet on the windowsill. He stretched out both hands and I jumped down. He grabbed me from under the arms and set me down on the branch. It took me a moment to grab my balance and we sat down on the branch.
--8:00 AM--
--Shinso's POV--Denki and I were chatting when I heard the door to my room open.
"Hitoshi? I hurt my finger," I heard Eri's voice, with a voice crack.
I quickly got up and stepped around Denki, climbing into my room. I walked forward and squatted down in front of her. There were tears in her eyes as I motioned for her hand. It was just deep enough to draw blood.
"Hey, it's okay kiddo, we just need a bandaid," I said, smiling to reassure her.
Denki climbed back inside and I took Eri's hand, walking over to the living room, where we kept a first-aid kit just in case. I opened it and grabbed a bandage wrap, motioning for her hand again and squatting down. I took it and wrapped it around her finger.
"What happened?" Denki asked, coming downstairs,
"Oh, she just hurt her finger. Hey, you wanna make cookies?" I asked, looking over to Eri.
She nodded with a smile and wiped the small tears forming on her eyes and we walked over to the kitchen. Denki tagged along, stating he's never really made cookies.
--5:00 PM--
All of us were sitting on the carpeted floor, with a plate of cookies we made, of the living room when Aizawa and Mic walked in.
"I thought you said the mission wouldn't take long?" I questioned,
"They sent us to mission after mission. I guess they forgot we have kids." Aizawa mumbled, he glanced over at Eri and his eyes landed on her bandages finger. "What happened?"
"I don't know. She just hurt her finger," I replied, continuing to play the board game when Denki poked me to say it was my turn.
"Well why is Kaminari here?"
"He's sleeping over for the week. Dad didn't tell you?"
"No. In fact, Mic did not say anything to me," he growled, facing Mic, who put his hands up like he was under arrest.
"Hey hey hey! I knew you wouldn't let him and he li- ENJOYS SHINSO!"
Denki sighed in relief and I gave Mic a confused look, but shrugged and faced the board game.
Aizawa walked over and took one cookie and walked up to their room, Mic tagging along and Aizawa muttered incoherent curses under his breath.
—9:00 PM—
After dinner, Denki and I headed up to my room and I flopped onto my bed. We weren't going to bed yet, but I was so tired. Denki sat down on the air mattress and pulled the covers over him, shifting around until he was on his side in a comfortable position.
"Night Shinso!" he said, looking back with a smile.
"Night," I replied from my position of my head stuffed into my pillow on my stomach.
My plan was to wait for him to fall asleep so I could hang out on the tree, like I always do.
—10:00 PM—
I sighed in relief when I whispered Denki's name and he didn't wake up. I crawled over to the window and opened it slowly and didn't make noise, hopping onto the tree branch. I walked to the tree trunk and went to another branch. I sat down, resting my back against the trunk and looking at the stars, my knees pulled up to my chest and my arms crossed on them, my head rested on my arms.
