A/N: God am I Glad the issues with Honkai are fixed, and no, I'm not talking about the Global Anniversary, that'll always be a sore spot sadly.
So, if you don't know, one of my other two stories, A Line Between Light and Darkness, has been abandoned. The reason for this is explained in its last chapter so I won't bother explaining it here.
This does mean however, I have more time to devote to Legend Never Die and Honkai Huntress 3rd.
This won't be all that long, regardless of how long it was delayed, and I have to apologise for that.
So, on with the chapter.
Disclaimer: I Do not own Honkai Impact 3rd or Devil May Cry, they are the property of MiHoYo and Capcom respectively.
(Chapter Start)
"Alex, I need you in reserve! Wendy, You'll be backing up Mei, rendezvous with her as fast as possible!" Himeko's voice called out over the communications.
Kiana let a smirk pull at her lips as a Schicksal drone crashed into a flying Honkai Beast overhead. The albino girl was currently stood atop a skyscraper, the drone which had brought her there having crashed into the streets below.
"Kiana-!"
"Yeah, Yeah Aunt Himeko I'm on my way!" She casually dismissed the Older Valkyries orders away while watching a lance of light pierce through the sky before it shattered and a cascade of light arrows tore through the flying Honkai Beasts like they were nothing. "Show off..." She muttered, but her smirk never fell.
Hearing the approaching aircraft behind her, she moved into action, performing some acrobatics before finishing off with a flip that resulted in an oversized cat paw slamming down on the nose of the drone that approached her, causing it to flip over while she landed on it.
"Here we go!" She exclaimed with a grin.
(Scene Change)
In the streets below, Wendy slammed her weapon, a single metallic Plain Dao blade, up to the hilt in a Chariot class beasts head.
She heard more than saw the arrows that tore through the beasts in the sky, having to focus more on the ones swarming the streets.
She turned, letting go of her blade, and slammed her fist into the oncoming Honkai Beast, a Knight type, staggering the horse looking beast as she turned back to pull her Dao out of the Chariot beast and after doing so, pulled herself onto the beasts back so she could more clearly cut off the head of the knight rider.
Jumping away from the Knight class beast to avoid the oncoming Scythe of a Zombie, Wendy felt a small inferno swell up to the surface of her body before she launched an orb of fire at the Zombie, incinerating the undead with it.
Exhaling she relaxed slightly, having gained a brief respite. Looking up the green-eyed girl looked up to the drones in the sky, only to wince as she watched one crash head-on into a skyscraper.
"I hope that wasn't Kiana-San." She spoke only to regret it a minute later.
"Kiana Kaslana what the fuck did you do!?" She heard Alex's voice shout out over the coms.
(Scene Change)
The Demon Hunter was currently still stationed at St. Freya. He stood at the Schools highest point, and with his Demonic eyesight had a good enough view of the city to snipe at Honkai Beasts with Lumina.
So, when he saw the drone that had just picked up Kiana not even five minutes ago crash into a skyscraper he was first to voice his opinion on the matter. "Kiana Kaslana what the fuck did you just do!?"
"It was an accident!" The white-haired girl cried out over the coms.
"You're lucky that part of the city was already evacuated sugar." Himeko's voice chimed in. "Alex, can you clear the air?"
"Not gonna be a problem Himeko." The Demon answered as he nocked another arrow. "My core is twisted by Wrath." The string of his bow was pulled taut as the arrow took on a crimson hew. "Azaloth's Rain!" The arrow was let loose, flying across the sky and into the city's airspace where it then tore through dozens, upon dozens of Honkai Beasts.
"Alright Kiana, don't miss, or crash this Drone." Himeko spoke over the coms again. "Alex, think you can keep the sky's clear?"
"Easy enough, but that Emperor class is moving a bit fast for my shots." He spoke back to the redhead who swore lightly at that.
"Fine, just keep it as clear as possible." The redhead cut communication with him after that.
Letting out a sound of amusement at the redhead's actions, Alex notched another arrow before letting it fly.
(Scene Change)
Kiana let out a shout as she finished off another of the Honkai Beasts that had appeared on the Drone which flew by the bridge mere meters above the water below.
A new, much faster Honkai beast appeared in front of her on the Drone. A Konungur type emperor class.
"NEKO-CHARM!" Kiana cried out, activating her Battlesuits built-in function to summon a giant, mechanical cat paw which slammed into the Honkai Beast.
"Kiana, you don't have time for this!" Himeko spoke up as the drone passed over the bridge.
"One-minute aunt Himeko! Let me send this one packing!" The albino responded while opening fire on the Honkai Beast.
The Kaslana girl rushed the beast and kicked it in its centre mass, launching it off of the Drone which had looped around back to the ship above the city.
"Aunt Himeko, I'm heading for the Selene now!"
(Chapter End)
A/N: This chapter was soooo delayed. I've been really sick over the past month and have only recently got better, and as the Authors note at the start says, the start had originally been made when Honkai was having issues a month or so ago.
Next Chapter will be focused around the Selene, Honkai Huntress 3rd gets its fourth chapter after this.
Thanks for reading, and thank you for your Patience.
Edit: Grammar Check.
