A/N: This'll be a short chapter, mainly going over stuff that happens in the manga after the fight between Mei and Himeko, but with my own twist for obvious reasons.
Disclaimer: I do not own own Honkai Impact 3rd or Devil May Cry, they belong to Mihoyo and Capcom respectively.
(Chapter Start)
(St. Freya Medical Facilities)
"Mei-Senpai!" A white haired girl shot up from her place on a bed in the medical bay of St. Freya. Taking a look around the room the girl quickly realized that A: She was in a hospital of some kind, and B: She didn't have a clue as to where she was beyond that. "Where... am I?" Kiana questioned after a moment.
As if in response to her question the door to the room opened, and in walked two women, or rather, a woman and a child, as far as Kiana was concerned.
The woman, a tan lady with glasses and dark hair, spoke first. "You know, I didn't expect her up so soon." The woman's voice had a distinctly southern accent to it, yet her Japanese was damn near perfect.
"Her family is unique in that they're too stubborn to stay down for overly long." The child spoke, her voice holding a certain amount of irritation as she did so.
"Hey don't talk as if I'm not in the room with you!" Kiana Exclaimed, although that didn't seem to bother the two people in question. "Oi brat, don't ignore me!"
"Brat!?" The much shorter of the two new comers in the room exclaimed while the taller southerner held in a laugh at the comment.
In response to what Kiana had said, the 'young' girl, Theresa Apocalypse, brought out a massive black cross from...somewhere, before snapping her fingers, causing said cross to have its sides split off and having several blades connected to some form of chain or wire launch from it and pin her to the bed, causing Kiana to let out a shriek of surprise.
"You need to learn some manners young Lady!" Theresa exclaimed while jumping up onto the beds railing. "I'm Theresa Apocalypse, the person in charge of the Far East Branch of Schicksal."
"Not even changing your name before charging into a Honkai infested zone without any form of safety gear on, and i thought only Alex was stupid enough to do that." Theresa said getting Kiana to stare at her weird. " You must really want your father to find you, Tochter Von Siegfried?" Theresa couldn't help the slightly smug look that came onto her face.
What Theresa said really got Kiana's attention. "You know the old man?" She asked.
"Yeah, I've know him for a really long time." Theresa's voice was smug central right now. "I even know where he is right now."
"Guess I'm not needed after all." Nico muttered going to leave the room before taking note of a set of charts noting down Demonic infection and Honkai exposure which showed how exposed she had been to Honkai energy and Demonic Magic. 'She shouldn't be alive, forget being awake, those exposure levels are absurd for someone her age!' Normally being exposed to Demonic energy alone could be enough to kill someone, depending on the source of said Demonic energy and in Nico's experience, there are very few sources of demonic energy stronger than a Sparda's.
So when she heard that a teenage girl, no older than fifteen years old, had survived direct exposure to a Devil Triggers raw energy, you could forgive her for attempting to call bullshit. The only reason Alex's apprentice in the art of Demon hunting, that Wendy girl, could use Demonic magic as she did,was because Alex had tampered with what the Valkyrie's called 'Stigmata' and had created and artificial one with some Demonic energy imbued into it, allowing Wendy to use the Demonic magic that Alex had taught her.
