1 month, and 09 days till BTS debut

"Jimin, could you turn off the lights?" Namjoon requested in his characteristically composed leader manner as the group of exuberant preteen idol trainees, just a month away from their debut, surged into their compact dorm room. Eager to finally be home after a grueling day of schedules and preparations, I felt drained. The manic episode and intense anxiety attack that had struck earlier had left me fatigued. All I yearned for was a relaxing shower followed by some rest. However, true to their nature, the other members never allowed me to be alone. Gone were the days when they would give me space. Since they had pulled me out of my depressive state a few months ago, they were determined not to let me slip back into those depths. I trailed behind the group, moving sluggishly as the dorm room came alive once again.

Hobi was already well on his way to his bunk, shedding the uncomfortable and scratchy 'high fashion' sweater he insisted on wearing. It was, in reality, a knockoff Gucci hoodie he had stumbled upon in a downtown thrift shop. He donned it to impress staff members, but it didn't really fool anyone. Yoongi and Jin headed straight to the cramped kitchen, the sink still stacked with bowls from the morning. The mess didn't seem to bother them much, as they swiftly delved into pulling out pots and pans, preparing to whip up dinner.

Taehyung and Jungkook, on the other hand, raced to the television, abandoning their belongings in haste. Their footsteps reverberated loudly against the floor as they dashed toward the sofa, reminiscent of elementary kids rushing home from school. Taehyung's attempt to leap over the back of the sofa ended with a resounding crash onto the floor, provoking hearty laughter from Jungkook. He had been mere seconds behind Taehyung in mimicking the ridiculous stunt but upon witnessing his friend's embarrassing tumble, he was too engrossed in uncontrollable laughter to replicate the sofa acrobatics.

"What's so amusing, asshole?" Taehyung inquired with a mixture of dejection and a slightly sulky expression. He wasn't one to take being teased lightly. As the oldest among his three maknae, he was usually the instigator, not the target. His sensitivity and stubbornness didn't help either.

"You are, asshole" Jungkook retorted, still chortling and showing no sign of intimidation by Taehyung's feigned display of indignation. Taehyung glared at Jungkook with frustration for a few more seconds, his anger juxtaposed against Jungkook's laughter. But like a fleeting spell, his pouty mood vanished into thin air, replaced by self-amusement. He began to chuckle at his own expense before springing onto the sofa once again, reaching for Jungkook's shirt. With determination, Taehyung yanked at Jungkook's shirt and, summoning every ounce of his strength, flung Jungkook over the sofa. The result? Jungkook found himself in the same position as Taehyung – sprawled on the living room floor.

"Could you all keep it down? We do have neighbors beneath us," Namjoon grumbled in a somewhat peeved tone, reminiscent of a frustrated mother scolding her rowdy kids. As he tried to arrange the scattered bags and discarded shoes of the boys, he managed to shift a good half dozen pairs before surrendering in exasperation. His hands thrown up in a gesture of defeat, he abandoned the task and retreated, uninterested in dealing with the chaos. "I'm heading for a shower" he announced loudly before joining Hoseok in the bunk room.
