I lay in my bed, legs spread as I place my MacBook on my lap, writing whatever comes to mind.
Ever used to be terrified of the dark? Well technically speaking terrified of what's in it. Now you find your peace in the dark, there's a certain feeling of the unknown that draws you into it. Just like the dark, peaceful and unknown. Within the depths lie billions of things, never to be seen in all this darkness. For all you know there could be a hidden ray of sunshine that's covered, or something so beautifully made that seems out of this world. But there could also be something so evil in this pitch black space that you wouldn't even know about. Because you can't see everything In the dark, so will you stay peaceful without knowing what lies within the darkness. Or will you be the light and fight for the truth that lies within.
I stare at the writing until I hear my door bell ring.
I let out a huff and place the MacBook on my bed, stumbling to my door. I open it to reveal the one and only Zion. I jump into his arms as he spins me.
"How you doing little bug." He mumbles into my hair.
"It feels like I haven't seen you in ages dummy, so I wasn't doing well until now." I smile at him as he lets me down and walks in, he slumps onto my couch and spreads his legs apart.
"What can I say, I'm a missable person." He spread his arms in a nonchalant matter.
"Oh shut up." I roll my eyes as I walk into my kitchen and take a bottle of water out of the fridge. I hand it to him and he opens the cap, and hands it to me.
"Whatcha doin."
"Some writing, I have no clue how to go on about this next prompt." I complain and take a sip of my water.
"Sounds like you need ice cream." He says knowingly.
"You know in times like these I know why your my best friend."
"Aww."
"Don't get too excited sweetie, I'm not always this nice." I point a finger at him.
"You couldn't even hurt a fly." He raises an eyebrow.
"Well I'd feel bad, they just wanna fly around the world." I cross my arms.
"Sometimes I wonder how many times you hit your head when you were a child ." He states as he gets up and jiggles his keys.
"A lot thanks to you." I sass.
I change into a white shirt and dark washed jeans, and grab my keys to lock the door. I bump into Zion's back and turn around to see what's gotten into him.
Ahh rather who, Stella.
"Hey Stella, this is Zion my best friend, Zion this is Stella my new neighbour." I introduce they both shake each others hands, smiling.
"We were just going to get ice cream, you welcome to join us." I suggest excitement with an excited tone, I love making new friends.
"Really? That's sounds great" she gives a wide smile. "I just have to grab my jacket and keys" she says and we both nod.
"Soo" I teasingly bump Zion's shoulder.
