I never thought looking back would be so painful.

I was leaving the people I cherished the most in oblivion.

Maybe not into oblivion, but I know firsthand that I would never hear from them again, even if I wanted to.

Memories were slowly fading into the dark of night, along with its grayish-white, seemingly fluffy sea.

The moon, the one that crowns that bluish-black tulle, guides us and listens to us without judging, and at this moment she is guiding me towards my new destiny, towards a promising future.

The plane was sleeping. The cabin remained silent, with the dim illumination of some spotlights on the sides of the cabin.

Taking my eyes off that cozy window, I got up and wandered through the corridors, until I came face to face with a door from which hung a small sign, which indicated in several languages that it was the toilet.

Once inside I refreshed my face with water as cold as my feelings, and as I looked at myself in the tiny mirror all my fears vanished completely.
