AFTER MAKING SURE it was Mace's girlfriend, I stuck to her like her shadow, since we shared the first three classes.

I kept following her around during breaks between classes waiting for her to approach Mace or Aidan, but that didn't happen.

Eventually biology class ended, making way for break time, and as I had done in the previous two classes, I followed her to her locker.

She put her things away and then walked me to mine so I could put them away too, but when I tried to take some lunch money she wouldn't let me. She took me by the arm and led me straight to the cafeteria, where she said we would meet her friends and boyfriend, so we did.

Rachel, she is Lizzy and he Casey, and well those two individuals you already know them— she said pointing to Coronel and Gallagher.

I waved. I looked stupid, but that was certainly better than screaming with excitement and having them think I was crazy.

Liseth had me sit next to Mace, with her sitting between Lizzy and me. Without warning she snatched the tray from Coronel and began to eat from it, handing it to me as well.

I just ate a couple of french fries out of embarrassment and stopped accepting Moore's offers.

Sophia, don't worry, I'm used to her taking my food— said Mace nonchalantly.

He's been on a diet for a few months... he's getting fat added Liseth with her mouth full of food.

All of us at the table laughed at the blonde's comment. We started talking about the classes we had in the next hour, learning that in that class the last two courses would be joined in the electives; journalism, performing arts, and debate, since some students were participating in the soccer team.

The only one who had taken performing arts, theater branch, had been Mace, who adamantly refused to join the team.

As he said, it's better not to stir up the past.

I was in front of the brown guy, we were both practicing facial expressions trying not to laugh out loud as it was quite a strange activity for me and honestly funny.

Now you must put on a serious countenance the teacher enunciated.

As she said, we tried to put on the most serious expression possible, but it was impossible to see how Mace tried not to laugh, and unable to hold my laughter, I ended up laughing outrageously, spreading it to the whole class.
