SUNDAY. FOUR days after my attempt to return to Spain. In the end, I ended up resigning myself to the fact that I would not be able to say goodbye to my grandmother.

After three days cooped up at Gallagher's house, I was finally able to return to my own.

It turns out Aidan wasn't the only persuader in his family, he had gotten it from his mother.

Somehow, Lauren and my mother ended up becoming friends, so when the blonde offered to let me stay at her house until my health improved, she accepted without complaint.

Aidan and I weren't very different, our mannerisms were similar, but we did fight a lot of times.

Especially when it came to watching a movie since he only wanted to watch science fiction and I mostly wanted to watch romance or something that would make me cry my eyes out.

On the other hand, when it was time to eat, I did not refuse to eat what he ate, even though most of the time I only ate vegetables, not by choice, but because my mother commented that I did not like them very much.

But that didn't stop us from forming a somewhat strange friendship.

Yeah, I'm sorry Alex I said once again.

Uh-huh. Next time you get sick, tell me so I don't look foolish and intense.

Since I had a cold, I didn't have time to call her, even though my mother had taken my phone to Gallagher's house, but I didn't have the strength to listen to all her dramas.

I know, I'll let you know next time. And if you don't mind, I have to take a shower, I start classes tomorrow.

At Lorge High School? I nodded Great, my little girl will become a spoiled brat— she said out loud to herself.

Never. I haven't made fun of those people to end up being one of them.

I put on my pajamas; a gray long sleeve t-shirt and plaid pants. I grabbed the hairdryer that I kept in a basket along with the hair straightener, a curling iron... located next to my desk.

I plugged it into the socket next to the standing mirror with the white frame and set it to a safe temperature.

I moved the device gently as I brushed my hair. I would never go through such a cold again.

As I normally did, I began to sing, dulling my voice with the noise of the dryer, even though I knew my family would still hear it, but I didn't care.

I wasn't the only one singing in the shower and front of the mirror.

Once my hair was completely dry, I went out to the living room to wait for dinner and to totally hog the TV.

But I changed my mind when I saw Marc sitting on the couch, before he could notice my presence I ran back into the room.

I closed the door so fast, I was startled by the noise myself, but I wasn't going to stay in the living room and socialize with my mother's boyfriend.

Not to have him insinuate again that I was old enough to have a boyfriend, neither to listen to his lectures about my bad temper.

I knew that if he ever brought up any of it again, or heard him talk, I would jump on him and gouge his eyes out with my bare hands.
