(6) What Are You Doing Here?

Three weeks later.

"Welcome to English 101 students. I'm Professor Lawson. Now that everyone is in their seats we will begin roll call." Professor Lawson said 

He began to do roll call. Maggie was sitting two rows away from Bucky. Professor made it through the A's. When he said "James Barnes III." 

Maggie felt her stomach drop as the memories came back to haunt her. "I prefer Bucky." Bucky said as Maggie started to twirl her blonde hair. 

Professor Lawson was making his way through the Cs when he finally came to her name. "Margaret Connors." 

Bucky dropped his pencil he was twirling. "That's me. I prefer Maggie." She said 

He looked for her but he couldn't find her. After class was over he spotted her he grabbed his stuff and followed her out. 

"Mousy Maggie." He said 

She just ignored him. 

"Margaret grace Connors." He said as he stopped in front of her. 

"Well well look who it is. What are you doing here?" He said 

She rolled her eyes. 

"Did you come here for me? Cause out of all the colleges in the world you happen to show up at this one." He said 

"Newsflash James the world doesn't revolve around. I don't keep up with hockey or is it football? I haven't seen you in about 8 years so how was I suppose to know you would be here. If I had known I wouldn't of come..." she said 

"So feisty these days." He said

"Hey Maggie you coming?" Maci yelled from the sidewalk. 

"Yeah I'm coming." She said 

"See you around James." She said as she walked off

"You know better than to call me that. Who are those girls with my team mates?" He said as she walked off. 

Hunter and Dylan were Maci and Carlie's twin brothers. They also were friends with Maggie from when they all attended Greenwich Academy. Both boys hugged her as they all walked off. 

"No no..." he said seething.
