~No One's POV~

Kirby and the King rolled their eyes at Meta Knight's sentence. "Poyo, I'm Kirby! The strongest warrior in the galaxy!" Kirby exclaimed proudly, whilst King DDD snickered, "Yeah, the strongest willed at eating everything in the galaxy..."

Bandana Waddle Dee... waddled forward and shook Star's hand, pulling out a paper and pen to write, 'I am Bandana Waddle Dee. No one can understand my language, so I write on paper instead. The penguin in the robes is King Dedede.'

Star nodded solemnly. She wasn't much for talking either. XD.

"So... mind telling me your life story about how ya ended up in that crystal?" King DDD sat down on his throne, watching in a bit of satisfaction when Star bowed slightly, "Not at all, your highness. But it's not a very... exciting story..."

"It's fine. We've heard worse." King DDD shuddered, remembering when Galacta Knight and Meta Knight had revealed only a bit of their adulthood life. Bandana had stopped them both, too frightened to listen to the rest.

~Star's Backstory~

Growing up, childhood was extremely difficult.

I lost my father at a young age, mother went through some serious therapy- which isolated her from people (including me)- for a couple months because of his death.

I was always teased because I was a rare shade of purple. No- my kind weren't being racist, they were being too emotional. I was called 'cute' everywhere I went. Of course, some particular people were jealous, but I didn't really pay attention to them- I was more focused on other things like work and studying, training- it was a wonder my friend, Merla, even got me to... 'play' with her during the week.

Mother, as I mentioned, was going through intense therapy, so I was alone most of the time. I was very antisocial, making me a brilliant victim for the school-bullies, but thank goodness the teachers and professors didn't make me answer questions often. They understood my position, but others did not. In fact, Merla and Black were the only ones who understood me back then.

When I was around twenty, I took an interest in sword fighting. At that time, it was 'absolutely preposterous nonsense' for a woman to be interested in such affairs, but I would not let some, one-thousand-year-old statement, stop me. I had known of a clearing. It had trees and such, but there was a small area that was completely dry and clear. It was perfect for improving my skills and helped me to take my mind off school.

Once mother returned from her therapy, I did not inform her of my swordplay. She would have been devastated to know I liked it. Probably would've forbidden it entirely, had someone not recommended it to her.

At twenty-five years of age, I met someone who completely changed my life...

~Short Story~

"Still needs work..." Star mumbled, trying to get her sword beam just right.

She knew everything had flaws, but also knew her sword beam wasn't at its best. It could slice through trees and stones, but not heavy-duty rocks yet.

Sword beams could take a lot of energy from a person, so Star rested for a while, huffing slightly as she sent a sword beams towards a nearby rock, channelling all her mind, focus and emotions into it.

She let it go and it- rebounded? Star looked on in bewilderment as the sword beam flew back- right at her

She dodged it, slicing it in half as she did so, and swore a chuckle filled the air. "Who are you...?" she questioned, using her paranoia (paranoid-ness, XD) and hearing to determine where the creature was.
