Principal Nezu didn't come into the school the next day.

Or the next few days for that matter.

The staff were clearly getting concerned but they played it down for the sake of the school not going into a panic.

Clearly our class and 1-B caught on. There had been chatter for a few days until the next week after his disappearance.

"So, as some of you may have noticed.. Principal Nezu has been.. absent.. for the past week." Aizawa said at the beginning of class. There were murmurs of 'I wonder what happened?' and a very loud 'Duh.' from Kaminari. "Be quiet. Anyway, I want to make sure none of you are too alarmed. I'm not one to sugarcoat things, so here's the full truth. We believe Nezu's either fallen ill or been taken by villains."

"I'm sorry to interrupt sir, but his quirk is intelligence, right?" I asked, confused on how he could be kidnapped. "Surely he would've had some kind of defense system?"

"That's pretty much what his quirk is.. but please understand that anyone can be harmed if they're caught off guard." Aizawa responded. "So as a result of the principal's absence, school is going to be shorter so us heroes can try to track him down."

"How long will that take, sir?" Iida asked. "I understand that we may be in danger and so may the principal, but I don't want to miss too much."

"We don't know. Let's get started on class now." Aizawa turned to the board, scribbling down 'Negotiations'.

At the end of class, Toga came to my seat.

"What do you think happened to the Nezu guy?" She asked. "Everyone's super nervous about it."

"Hm.. I'm not sure.. Nezu is really smart but like Sensei said, it's easy to be captured if you're caught off guard." I hummed, looking up at her. "Try not to worry about it though! He's probably fine!"

"Whatever you say, Midoriya." She said with a smile that said what she didn't. It was suspicious but.. maybe he was reading too much into it.

We sat through the rest of our classes until lunchtime reached. As we were about to leave the classroom, All Might came in to make an announcement.

"Hello students, I have a very unfortunate announcement!" He nearly shouted. "Our training camp trip has been postponed due to our dear principal's absence! It will take place after he returns!"

"Whaaat? Aw man." Denki groaned, putting his head down on the table.

"Very sorry about that, Young Kaminari!" All Might quickly bowed his head. "I'll be going now, have a great lunch break!"

"You too, sir!" Yaomomo waved as he left. Then she stood up, looking at all of us. "Chin up you guys, I'm sure everything's going to go back to normal soon!"

"Aw, Yaomomo! You're so sweet!" Mina stood up. "You're always thinking about us!"

"O-Oh no.. I'm just being a good classmate!" She blushed, shaking her head.

"We know, Yaomomo. Let's go on to lunch." Jirou said, pulling Momo along with her.

"Let's go on ahead too, Izuku." Shochan tapped my back with Kacchan standing beside him.
