((IM SO SORRY FOR DISAPPEARING I GOT A JOB AND AM VERY BUSY))
"They cancelled classes today.." I sulked, laying in my bed. It was still early in the morning, and most of the class had already went back to sleep.
"Isn't that good though?" Shochan said from beside me. "A day to relax."
"A day to try and figure out what's happening with Nezu." I sat up. "It's been a while since the heroes have even had a lead on where he could possibly be. They said he might've been taken by villains, but they've raided so many possible hangouts that's not a reasonable explanation anymore. Do you think he might be-"
"Don't say he's dead." Shoto shook his head, looking at me.
"It's a possibility though!"
"Look, Izuku. You've seen a lot of death, you've been through a lot in the past few months, and I know that's influencing what you're doing right now. You don't want Nezu to be hurt the way you were, so you want to get to the bottom of things on your own." He began. "Stop it, you might get yourself hurt. I don't know if Kat and I would be able to take it again if you did."
"I don't think I like being evaluated, Shochan." I said, laying back down.
"Sorry. Habit." Shoto apologized, both of us turning to the door as we heard a knock.
"Come in!" I replied, watching as a very shocked looking Uraraka and a remorseful Iida entered the room. "What's wrong guys?"
"They.. They want us in the common room." Ura replied, her voice wavering. She seemed to be unsure about something, which was concerning.
"Is something happening?" Shoto asked, clearly sending the same thing.
"We don't know yet, but we suspect something.. Something awful." Iida opened the door for us as we walked out.
We met the rest of the class in the common room and sat down on the couch.
"Where's Bakugo?" Aizawa-sensei asked, looking at Shochan and I.
"His mom called him home for something, he'll be back soon." I explained.
"What's going on, sensei?" Mina asked, ushering the teacher to get on with it.
"We have news about Principal Nezu." He said, his tone getting sadder.
"What is it?" Denki asked.
"Don't interrupt babe." Kiri put a hand on his shoulder.
"We found him last night, but he's in the hospital as we speak." Aizawa said.
"What happened to him?!" Ochaco gasped, clutching the fabric of her shirt.
"He was apparently kidnapped by a group of unknown villains. We suspect the league." He recalled. "He's in critical condition now, but there's a good chance he will live."
Everyone in our class could tell that Aizawa-sensei was lying for our sake.
"How beat up was he?" Toga asked, her tone not seeming very remorseful.
"I wasn't there, but for him to be in critical condition, I'd assume he was pretty messed up." Aizawa shrugged. "I imagine that this is scary for you all, so the dorms will be going on lockdown until we can find and eliminate the threat. The teachers will be here if you need to talk about anything and we'll be guarding the dorms. That is all."
"Thanks, Sensei.." Shochan nodded. The room smelled bitter with fear as he left.
"What if Principal Nezu dies?" Sero said, his voice small.
"H-He wouldn't die, Hanta!" Mina said, her tone filled with sharp denial.
"What if I jinxed it, Shochan? I know it's a childish concern but.. still." I looked at the alpha.
"You didn't jinx it, Izuku. He might be okay." Shochan shook his head.
"It smells like shit in here! The hell are you guys whining over?"
"Kacchan!" I said quickly. "Don't be rude!"
"They found Nezu, but he's in critical condition in the hospital."
"What the fück, seriously? He's not gonna die, right?"
"We don't know, Kacchan. Maybe not." I sighed, making some space on the couch and patting it, telling him to sit.
"Uh.. what do you guys want to eat for dinner?" Kacchan was never good with handling grief, his own or others', but he was trying his best. "I'm gonna make something awful if you don't recommend something good."
"I don't know, Kacchan. I don't think anyone is in the mood to eat." I shook my head. "You don't have to cook today."
"Okay." He stated after a bit of silence. I had a small feeling that Kacchan wanted his hands and mind to be busy so he didn't have to think about the grim situation our class and school were in, so I felt a bit bad.
None of us really knew what to say, just sitting in awkward/sad silence wasn't helping our moods either.
"Classmates, let's keep our heads up! I'm certain that Principal Nezu is going to be just fine." Iida stood, trying to lighten to mood as the class president. "We should all go to our rooms to properly de-stress."
"Four eyes is right." Kacchan nodded. "Sitting around is bound to be bringing our moods down even more."
"Thank you for siding with me, Bakugo!" Iida said, much more surprised than needed.
"Whatever, come on you two." Kacchan touched my shoulder, getting Shochan and I to get up.
"A-Actually Midoriya, can you stay with me for a second? I'm really distraught."
Looking towards the source of the voice, I saw Toga, who hadn't seemed too torn up this entire time.
"I'm sorry, Toga. I have to make sure my mates are okay before I can help you, no offense of course! I'll be here to help once I know these two are okay." I smiled and watched as her mood visibly flattened. It confused me a bit, but she still could've just been disappointed that I couldn't help her in the moment.
"Alright.. I'll see you later then!" Her smile immediately came back, although behind it hid something sinister. I still couldn't place this bad feeling I had about her, but it was starting to concern me more and more.
But I disregarded it and went to Kacchan's dorm room, not anticipating what would happen next.
