Peter PoV

--------------------

"Hey, Wanda! Pietro!" I waved to the twins, and they walked over to where Harry, Gwen, MJ, Kate, and I were talking.

"How was the mission?" Harry asked.

"Easy peasy." Wanda smiled.

"We're professionals," Pietro kidded, and Wanda jokingly nudged his shoulder.

"Oh, of course. You two are far our superiors." Kate said, the back of her hand on her forehead, "We are unworthy to be in your presence."

That sent a wave of laughter through our happy little group.

"So, where did you go?" MJ asked once the laughter had died down.

"New York City. We even got to sight see a bit. We saw Avengers tower, the Oscorp tower, and more. It was okay I guess. Been there, done that. Y'know?" Pietro shrugged, eyebrows raised in mock unintrest.

"Oh, please," Gwen snorted, "Unlike you, we have only been there once. So, no. We don't know."

"Well, I've been there four times." Kate pointed out.

"It gets boring after a while." Pietro stated, looking Gwen in the eyes.

MJ took notice of the staring competition and pulled out her sketchbook.

Wanda facepalmed, and Harry was smirking. Gwen had a temper, that was for sure.

"Did you see Tony Stark?" I turned to Wanda.

"Yes, from a distance," Wanda nodded.

"What did he look like?" I had never even seen a picture of the arrogant billionaire playboy. All Clint would tell us was that Stark was the most selfish man on the planet. He was rude, ignorant, and whiny among other things. He we everything we stood against.

"He had a goatee and sun-glasses. It was hard to see him with all the crowds."

"And did you see any other Avengers?" The Avengers had "saved the world" four years ago. Clint didn't trust them. They were just a bunch of people who had powers that they shouldn't. Two lab rats, a rich boy, and a myth. More living legends that could never live up to their legends.

"No."

-----------------------

The polls Clint had set up weren't much, but they would work. I swung to the other end of the line of polls and back while Clint shot at me, using the dull arrows that we had wrapped in styrofoam. It was easy for him at first, but I could tell I was giving him more of a challenge after a while. He seemed off, and I asked him if something was up. He shook his head and told me I could go. That was the shortest training session I ever had.

"Oh, and Peter," Clint called before I could leave.

"Yeah?" I turned to look at him.

"You'll be going on your first solo mission in five days. There's a file I need. You're ready."

"Yes, sir." I nodded, walking away and doing an internal victory dance.

What'd ya think? I personally love writing this father/son relationship between Clint and Pete.

Also! I don't hate Iron Man! He's great! It's just for the plot!
