the rest of practice was tiring. it included lots of yelling on behalf of phil. alex almost shit himself when bad scolded him for almost knocking george unconcious.

clay kicked him afterwards.

alex huffed, "clays an asshole, my shin hurts so bad!"

"you almost hurt his husband, how could you?" karl giggled out.

sapnap was laughing at alexs pouty expression. "shut up you massive dick head! my leg hurts!" alex whined.

"we're at my house, stop fighting nimrods," karl said, accompanied with a punch to each boys arm.

alex ruffled his hair, "bye karlos!"

"bye karl, ill call you when i get home," sapnap waved, even though karl hadnt walked away yet.

"me too!" alex promised, as sapnap hugged karl. alex quickly wrapped him in a hug as well.

the two boys walked away backwards, waving at karl until they turned the corner towards alexs house.

he stood on his front step, watching the boys until they were out of sight.

as soon as they were no longer visible, karl quickly went inside and shut the door behind him. he pressed his back against the wood, and slid down to the floor.

all he could think about was their enthusiastic smiles, the way they never stopped waving until he couldnt see them anymore. he could still feel where alex had his hand in his hair, where both boys had hugged him.

karl thought to himself,

'ive got it bad..'

sapnap recieved a prompt kick to the shin.

"ow! asshole!" sapnap whined.

alex flicked his forehead, "im not a fucking ipad kid."

sapnap snickered, "i could definitely prove you otherwise, but too bad were at your house."

alex swiftly punched sapnap in the stomach, just hard enough to cause the other boy to double over. he ruffled his hair and ran across his long driveway, avoiding the consequences of touching sapnaps hair.

"bye sappy!" he called out, turning his head to look at the irritated boy in his front yard, "fuck you!"

"i didnt even do anything!"

alex laughed as he reached his door, flipping off sapnap, recieving the same gesture moments later.

he blew sapnap a kiss, before going inside.

alex entered the small diner, glancing around for an empty table.

he spotted a small table with two seats facing eachother. he saw no sign of it being occupied so he took a seat, grabbing a menu.

he scanned over the meals on the paper, deciding on a burger combo.

he set down the slightly stained paper, before pulling out his phone and scrolling through twitter.

he saw a video attatched to one tweet, so he clicked on it, forgetting he had no headphones.

the video started playing way louder than it should have, as he scrambled to turn it down.

after he muted his phone, he looked up to see just how many people were staring at him.

but one person caught his eye.

it was a handsome guy, wearing a black baseball cap with two white letters overlapping, "NY."

the boy was on the verge of cackling, watching as alexs face flushed from embarrassment.

they locked eyes, the boy finally bursting. he was laughing like a maniac, causing alex to laugh as well.

once he had calmed down, he walked over to alexs table.

he took a seat across from him, resting his arms on the table. "hi, im jonathan. but most people call me schlatt, thats my last name," schlatt offered his hand.

alex shook his hand, "im alex! sorry for interupting you schlatt."

the boy waved him off, "nah youre fine, i needed a laugh anyways."

the duo talked for half an hour longer, eating their food and joking around. they got to know eachother. by the end of the conversation, they had eachothers numbers.

they split ways in front of the restaraunt, after drawn out goodbyes.

"bye alex, text me later, alright?" schlatt called out.

alex giggled, "of course i will!"

after he rounded the corner, schlatt out of sight, he swiftly unlocked his phone and called both karl and sapnap.

they both joined the call a few seconds apart, greeting eachother.

they were interupted by alex, "guys, i just met the hottest guy, i even got his number."

i wanted to make it longer but i promised a chapter today, so this is all you get

probs wont be a chapter until the week after next, ill be doing volleyball shit all day until tryouts next tuesday and even slower updates if i make the team
