The Star sleeps

"Kakariko village has been experiencing some strange issues, so I'll be gone for a couple of days." You heard your best friend.

"Strange?" You asked.

"Yeah. Two women. I've been getting several anonymous reports that they've been dealing with dark magic. Princess Zelda didn't approve of them, so it's by order that we have to go investigate." She said.

"Why would someone be dealing with dark magic? I don't know." She kept going.

"What if they are actually dealing with dark magic, Vespera? Should I go? What happens to you then?" You looked at her. "Nothing. Trust me."

You two looked at the night sky.

Vespera has been your best friend since you were children, both orphans living together. You lived a good life here. She's one of Hyrule's greatest warriors. One of the best commanders of their army.

You, on the other hand, had abilities. You could control things with your mind, but you've always felt like if you had more to learn. However, you never showed them to the real world because Hylians don't have powers, so they'd freak out.

"You remember when we first met?" Vespera said, softly. You nodded. "The stars were shining bright that night." She went.

"I found you. Laying on the floor, you were unconscious." You listened. Vespera was your first memory. Before that, it's blank. You two were 4 years old when she found you.

Once Vespera left to bed, you stared at the stars. Something about them felt familiar every-time you saw them. Maybe you were just crazy. I mean, you could just have a love for astronomy.

The next day, you and Vespera went shopping. As you two walked, a random girl was shouting.

"The stars will save us from the evil awaiting to kill us! Hear me out! There's a chosen one among us! It can be anyone who will save us!"

Vespera looked at you. "I wonder who it is."

You wandered off. Everyone shouted out of a sudden. "Help!!"

A monster somehow got inside Castle town. "Stay here!" Vespera pulled a sword out of nowhere. You were confused by that as she ran to the monster.

She quickly hurried and used the sword to slash the small beast. Everyone was impressed by how she fought. She smiled softly and finished the monster. Cleaning the sword, she walked towards you.

"That was seriously cool. Did you see that soldier run away?" You giggled. Vespera giggled back. "I did, you should've seen his face!"

In your eyes, Vespera was insanely amazing, and strong. Even when you were kids, she'd protect you. She was the only person you didn't wanna lose in a million years.

The next day, she was heading out with her horse next to her. You waved her goodbye for now. Heading back to your home, you were practiced your magic. You didn't know about it very much. Everytime you closed your eyes, you always saw a vision. A boy in green clothes, fighting by you. It was weird. You knew of no boy.
