(Before you ask, just imagine that there was some other weirdo who was doing what overhaul did to eri in this story. It probably won't be touched on again, but who knows? All I know as if writing this, is that the girl you'll see in this chapter aint the shithead Kai is)

??? POV

It ended up that UA suffered heavy losses as a result of their little press conference. After word circulated enough, the government knew it couldn't fund the school as much as it had previously, cutting down by well over double what it had initially provided.

The hefty reparations I and my mother were provided with also dealt a fair blow to them as well, but I wasn't going to complain. They did deserve it, and any sane person would've supported us receiving money either way.

As I also requested, the school left us well enough alone for all of the weeks proceeding after, and, even though I skipped every single one of those days, I was counted as entirely present, with not a single assignment missed.

Oh, it was glorious.

The freedom that had been stole from me was exhilarating to say the least. I had money, a strong quirk, and the opportunity to evade school without any trouble.

I spent the days as would any kid with a prolonged vacation, but the nighttime...

That's when the fun begin. I paraded the streets, searching for as much criminal activity as possible. Sure, I wasn't attending UA, but that didn't mean I was going to slack off on crime fighting. In all fairness, I was pretty much a professional hero already, in that regard. The only difference was my brutality within the spectrum of combat.

Most, if not all of my fights, left the opponent heavily maimed...

or killed.

Third Person POV

One month after being released from prison...

"P-Please!!!! I'll do anything to make it up to-AUGHHH!!!" The grotesque scream of the fallen thug ringed throughout the midnight air. Luckily for the perpetrator of his unsightly death, no one but himself was present to hear the wails.

"Disgraceful," A seventeen-year-old boy, sporting a simple pair of workout shorts and a tightly fitting t-shirt, walked away from the rotting corpse, who'd had his waist nearly cut in half, scoffing at the nature and ease he'd had in the murder, "Such weaklings attempt to kill me, and for what? It just ends in slaughter."

Izuku wiped the blood off of his hands, trying not to appear suspicious to anyone who could potentially walk by. If somebody saw it, they'd call for the police in a single heartbeat.

After successfully cleaning himself off, he looked into the open air, searching for reason amongst the twisted world he was as forced into. Although he had received enough money to live his life out comfortably, he found himself lacking a purpose. His potential life as a hero was borderline unattainable, and his strive to be admirable, and to act as a representative of the ideal society, had all but wasted away entirely.

He still had One For All though. In actuality, there wasn't much he couldn't do at that point. He'd even received his Provisional License after being freed from prison, so what was there to stop him?

Pulling out his smartphone, he typed in his passcode and clicked on YouTube, just to provide a semblance of entertainment. He made his way to a documentary on early quirks, and selected it. The first thing that popped up, wasn't the informative film, but a semi-recent advertisement that featured his former classmates, Itsuka Kendo and Momo Yaoyorozu in lavish versions of their hero costumes.
