Izuku's POV

I suppose I never did tell you all this part of my story, which I do apologize for.

To start, I must address a small misconception that I may have accidentally screwed up along the way. There were three members of class 1-A who did actually take my side during the altercation; Three kids who were always smart enough to think before they speak, and question most, if not everything they heard.

Telling them of my plans with Sai was an action I considered with great stress, and my decision had a consequence that proved to be more beneficial than I could've ever hoped.

In all honesty, I can tell that you're confused. Many a time did I directly state that All Might, my mother, and Sai, we're the only ones I'd ever be able to trust.

That was false.

Perhaps these three were just people I didn't want to risk trusting. After all, I tried my best to not set foot at U.A. for as long as I could. A lot of time had passed me by between my last physical interaction with any of my former classmates and the present. Within that lengthy period, who knows what they could've been swayed to think?

Not me, certainly.

It was seventeen against three in that classroom, as far as I could tell. With enough pestering, especially given those terrible odds, most, if not all people, thoughtful or not, could be swayed into thinking one way or another.

Yeah, that was it, for a definite fact. My own self doubt could have done me in pretty damn poorly, which was a laughable trend in my life.

Luckily enough, I wasn't entirely screwed over this time.

3rd Person POV

As a whole, throughout the school year, the many life threatening experiences that Izuku's former classmates faced brought them much closer together; Almost like a family.

Ironic, isn't it? That they'd turn their back on a so called family member?

Dom would be ashamed.

But, in the midst of all of the chaos, and during one of the more... questionable moments in the span of that class's existence, 3 kids bonded in a manner that was closer than that between even brothers:

Shoto Todoroki, Fumikage Tokoyami, and Hitoshi Shinso.

On the day that the class finally heard of the false allegations, those two were the only ones who spoke out against the masses. To see some of Midoriya's closest friends betray him in such a manner was inconceivable, and they knew that they needed to speak up against the bullshit being spewed.

When Midoriya walked into class that day, Iida was the first to move, followed by Uraraka, Bakugo, and then the rest of the class, setting aside the three. They began to ridicule him, calling him atrocious names, beating him up with their quirks, and quite simply anything you could imagine a bully doing.

To make it all the worse, their teacher allowed it. He just stood by at his podium, silently staring at what was the beginning of hell for Izuku Midoriya. Each of the three noticed this, and with that left just about all of the respect they once held for Shota Aizawa, a so called "hero".

By the time they knew what was happening, the situation was too far gone, but they didn't want to allow one of their best friends to endure the torture placed upon him. Tokoyami released dark shadow, letting it plow through the sea of students without constraint. Todoroki began trying to freeze those who'd fallen, and Shinso, as his quirk wasn't exactly suited for this situation, jumped into the frenzy, trying to pry away at or incapacitate those who were still attempting to assault Izuku.
