Odin's Daughter

CHAPTER 5

I wake up screaming and drenched in sweat. I was in one of Bucky's dreams. I was in HYDRA strapped to a chair with a mouth guard before they started electrocuting me. My eyes dart around the room trying to catch my bearings. My door flies open and I see Steve and Bucky standing there. I look at my bed trying not to make eye contact.

"I'm sorry I woke you both, I'll go sleep in the main lounge so I do not disturb anyone else." I say grabbing a blanket and pillow from my bed. I go to the door but the two stop me.

"Which one was it El?" Steve asked looking at me.

"I do not know what you are talking about." I grab onto the pillow tighter saying that.

"Which nightmare did you have?" Bucky asked me.

"I was strapped to a chair, with a mouth guard in."

"Electrocution?" Both of them ask at the same time. I nod my head not looking at them.

"Come on." Bucky said grabbing one of my hands. We walk back into my room and Steve comes in closing the door behind him.

"I'll be okay." I try to say without showing worry.

"We are going to stay with you tonight to help you." Steve said making his way over to the bed. Steve gets in on the far side of the bed and Bucky has me crawl in.

"El, we both have been through them before; one of the best things to do is make sure you don't sleep alone when you first start getting them. Once you have a couple of them it makes it easier to sleep alone since you will know what to expect." Bucky states putting a blanket over me before laying to the left of me. I don't know why but he was right. I immediately felt better having the two super soldiers there with me. I might be a goddess but everyone has their limits. Within minutes Steve and Bucky was asleep. I listened to the light snores before slowly dozing off as well.

I wake up to Steve holding my waist and Bucky having his arm under my head. I wasn't sure what had happened at first but then I remember the nightmare last night before remembering that they came in to help me.

"Hey doll." I hear bucky say very raspy as he is waking up.

"Hey." I reply quietly hoping not to wake up Steve.

"Did you sleep any better?" Bucky asked while shifting a bit.

"Actually, I did. Thank you for that, I appreciate it."

"Do I not get a thank you?" I hear Steve say in a deep voice that made the hair on my neck stand up, but in a good way.

"Of course, you do, I just thought you were sleeping. Thank you, I could have never asked for the help like that."

"Any time Princess." Steve says with a smile.

"I hate to break up this amazing morning but we should get up and moving before my brothers realize you are in here." I watch Bucky and Steve get a look of panic before jumping out of bed causing me to fall back since I now had no support.

"Well, on the upside, it's not like anything happened. Plus, you're into Girls so nothing would have happened anyway." Steve said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Not completely true, I am into both men and women." I reply with a chuckle. I watch the two blush and look away.

"We should get going, oh and tony has another party tonight but it's just for Avengers since it's Tony's birthday." Bucky said before the two excited my room.

"Miss Odinsdottir, your brothers are asking if you are available to see them?" I hear something say. I jump at the noise and look around.

"Yes, but they must come to me." I say looking around not knowing where the noise is coming from. Within the minute my brothers' barge into my room. I look at them unamused.
