I wake up at 4:00 a.m. -Two hours earlier than I was supposed to be up- and I pick out my outfit. (( http://www.polyvore.com/m/set?.embedder=13677775&.svc=copypaste&id=150558351 ))
and do my make up. I pick up my room a little bit and then I sit down on my bed while petting my cat -Andrew-, he purrs and cuddles up next to me. I close my eyes and enjoy the silence until my parent's alarm goes off and I dash to the kitchen to make them food, leaving Andrew startled. I cook them up some omlets and before my parents get out here their food is on the table. I then grab 2 glasses and pour some orange juice in them. My parents walk out and look shocked that I was up and made breakfast before they were out here. They sat down ate. Later in my mom got up to get dressed and do her makeup and my dad got up so he could take a shower. I grab their dishes as they get up from their chairs and I go to wash them. "Alice, I'm surprised you are actually maintaining to keep me calm this morning." My mom says surprised that once again I'm doing everything willingly instead if being asked to do so. By the time my parents are done getting ready it's 7:30 "Mom, Dad I'm going to get my stuff and go!" I yell through the house I walk down the hall to get my bag. "Okay, We really don't care!" My mom yells back. Of course they don't care, I could rob a fucking bank and they wouldn't care. I get my bag, put my shoes on and head out the door. My parents won't allow me to drive the car to school so I have to walk there. They said the school was about 3 miles away so, I got to walking. I reach there 5 min. before the bell rings to let us into the school. Some staff opens the front door and all the high schoolers go piling into the school. I make my way towards the principal's office and I find it after being shoved through halls. I knock on the door and I hear a "Come in," I open the door and walk over to the principal's desk. "Oh, Hello. You must be the new student, Alice isn't it?" The principal asks, I look down to her name plate and see on it 'Mrs. Walsh'. "Yes, Mrs. Walsh." I mumble. She laughs a little. "Oh dear, no need to be shy. This school is perfectly safe and nobody is mean, " She observes me for a second "Please have a seat," I do as told and sit down in one of the leather chairs in front of her desk. "You and Alex were friends in second grade, am I correct?" She asks as she puts a manilla folder on her desk and writes in Sharpie 'Map/Schedule'. "Alex what?" I ask quizzically. "Alex Walsh, my son." She replies. "Oh, yes I was friends with Alex in second grade." With that she hands the folder over to me. "I thought I recognized you. My, have you grown and become so pretty." She says cheerfully. "Thank you." I say and she hands me the manilla folder that was just on her desk. "So this envelope contains your schedule and a map of the campus. Your first class will be with Mr. Keller, his room is located on the second floor, room 219." The bell rings meaning that your five minutes to get to your locker then, class was up. The P.A. comes on and one of the students starts speaking. "Hello Witherton High School! This is Alex Walsh, and sadly I have to shut up and tell you to stand for the pledge." He says. He clicks some buttons in the background, and the pledge starts playing on a CD. Mrs. Walsh and I stand up and start saying the pledge with the CD. After that's done Alex walkst through Mrs. Walsh's office and winks at me. I look to the ground and face-palm. Mrs. Walsh stops him just as he's about to leave. "Mr. Walsh get back here please," he double takes and walks over to her. "Yes mom?" He asks. I face-palm again. "Are you by a chance going to Mr. Keller's class?" She questions. "No, I have Mr. Thornhill right now." He says puzzled. "Okay, may you please show Miss Bonham where her locker and class is since you're class is just den the hall from Mr. Keller's." She says in total mom mode. "Sure." Alex says as he looks over to me. "Cute bag. Here, let me show you the way." I look up a little. "Thanks." My sleeve starts rolling up and, I automatically pull it down in panic. I couldn't have them see my cuts on the first day. We walk out of the room and climb the stairway to the second floor. He shows me where my locker is and it just happens to be right next to his. After I finish taking my crap out of my bag we start heading towards Mr. Keller's class. He tries talking but every time he opens his mouth he quickly closes it and blushes a little. Whereas I sit there trying to figure out where the rest of my classes will be. We arrive at Mr. Keller's class in a matter of minutes, and Alex just slightly waves bye as he walks off to go to Mr. Thornhill's class down the hall. I reluctantly walk into the class. The students perk their heads up from their tests to look at me as I enter the room, and I awkwardly walk over to Mr. Keller's desk. "Hello, you must be Alice, please take a seat in the back by Stacy." Hearing her name she looks over to me and facepalms. I just barely hear her whisper to her friend. "Not an emo, anything but an emo." Her friend chortles quietly and looks to me. I walk back there wishing that I could be completely invisible. I sit down next to Stacy but she avoids looking/talking to me the entire class period. The bell rings about an hour and twenty five minutes after I sit down. I look at my map and head towards Mrs. Shelly's class. Like Mr. Keller she greets me happily. Then again, I'm told to sit by someone who hates 'emos'. Same for Mr. Ted's class after Mrs. Shelly's. I did notice two things in Mr. Ted's class though, 1. Alex was in that class. 2. He kept looking over at me from across the class. The bell rang after an hour and a half of Mr. Ted's class. I slowly make my way to my locker due to how many times I'm
shoved. I'm almost to my locker when one kid shoves me too hard into a locker and I fall to the ground dropping all my books. Alex passes by and looks down to me. He kneels down and helps me with my books. "Shoved?" He asks. "Yeah, no kidding." I mumble. He helps me up and gets me to my locker. Only thing I noticed was that I wasn't being shoved anymore. Was it because Alex was walking with me? I shrugged it off and put everything in my locker except for my sketch book and my other art supplies. I grabbed my phone and headphones and made my way to lunch, since Alex had already left. When I got to the cafeteria everyone looked at me and started putting some of their belongings on the chairs next to them, making sure I wouldn't sit there. I sat at the only table that was completely empty. I opened my sketchbook and began drawing a Creepypasta anime picture. I would look over to the popular table every now and then to see Alex staring at me from across the cafeteria. All of his friends were snickering. I only recognized two of them though, Stacy and her friend. Stacy looked over her shoulder at me. She picked up her plastic sport after a little bit and threw it at me yelling. "Hey emo, go kill yourself!" I looked back down at my sketch book and began drawing again. The rest of the day passed by, I went to Mrs. Alexandria's class after lunch then school was out. (( A/N- The high school Alice now goes to has a block schedule. So, she has four classes one day and the other four the next day))
As I left school it started raining. "Shit," I said as I walked outside. Alex passed me at the exact moment I said that though, and he turned to me. "What's wrong?" He asks. "It's raining." I replied. "Don't you have a car?" He asks puzzled. "No, I had to walk 3 miles this morning to get here. Well, I'll see you tomorrow I guess." I mumble and I start walking. Alex walks to his truck and gets in, he waits until everyone else has left and then follows me in his truck pulling up beside me. "Hey Alice, do you want a ride?" He asks. "It's okay." I reply and start walking again. He follows me in his truck. "Alice, please get in the truck." He says. "I'm fine, I swear." I say as I continue walking. "Alice, get in the damn truck." He says. I look up to him one more time. "Fine," I say and hop into the truck. I then turn my music up all the way until I can't hear anything.
