"1777, GOMEZ, SHEALTIEL MAUI JAN"
My hands are cold and shaking while my throats are dry when i saw my name on the list of passer in Physician Licensure Exam on the screen monitor of my laptop.
"Tangina, doctor na ako!" Sigaw ko sa loob ng Condo ko while jumping around my bed dahil sa sobrang saya. I'm literally in the 'Tears of Joy' state when suddenly my phone rang.
(Maui, doctora kana!!huhu) My friend Adira call me while crying.
(Maui, ano hindi kaba mag sasalita?) She asked over the phone.
"Tangina Adi hindi pa rin nag s-sink sa'kin na Doctora na ako" i answered.
(I'm so proud of you, Maui. Ang galing galing mo talaga!) She scream over the phone.
"Thank you, Adi" Bwelta ko.
(We need to celebrate Maui, we're gonna pick you up tonight Doctora. Get Ready. Congratulations Doctora.) Ani Adi bago niya ako binabaan ng telepono.
I glance again on my screen monitor and read my name.
"Doctora Maui Shealtiel Jan Gomez, Doc. Gomez." I whispered on the air.
"Lord, ang sarap pakinggan" dagdag ko pa.
Later that night, Adi pick me up in my Condo along with Ohris and Ellie. I'm wearing a pencil cut dress along with my long boots and a leather jacket. I also curled my hair put a light make up on.
Pag dating namin sa Cliffhouse sa Tagaytay, bumungad agad sa amin ang mga ka block mates namin, i think mga pumasa na rin sila sa Physician Licensure Exam. Mga Doctors na rin ang nag p-party dito ngayon.
Adi's order some tequila kaya hindi masyadong malakas ang tama nito sa akin sa ngayon.
"Maui, party mo ito hoy imagine kung lumalandi ka kaya jan instead na umupo jan sa tabi." Bulong sa akin ni Adi habang may hawak hawak na bote ng Jack Daniels sa kanang kamay n'ya.
"See, si Ellie and Ohris may lalake na gilid nila oh" Dagdag pa n'ya bago tumuro sa gawi ni Ellie at Ohris na parehas ng may kakandong.
Hindi na ako sumagot dahil biglang may dumating na lalaki at tinabihan si Adi kaya tumayo nalang ako at nag tungo sa tavern para humingi ng Vodka.
"Why are you drinking alone Doctora Maui?" a familiar voice whispers behind my ear and sending chill down to my spine.
Agad kong itong nilingon at laking gulat ko ng biglang kinuha nito ang hawak kong alak.
"Nice choice of drink." He said while smirking on me and licking the side of his lips just like before.
"Louie." i whisper in shocked.
No way after 7 years.
