Chapter 2: The One with the Name

"Have you ever heard the story about Tinkerbell and Peterpan?" Tanong sa amin ng teacher namin sa Oral Communication.

Tinkerbell and Peterpan, ang alam ko sa story na yan ay mag kaibigan si Peterpan at Tinkerbell. Sinusuportahan ni Tinkerbell si Peterpan sa lahat ng adventure nito.

"Do you know that Tinkerbell wasn't really in love with Peterpan?" Sabi ng teacher namin.

Agad nag taas ng kamay ang isa kong kaklase.

"But Sir. I thought that Tinkerbell is in love with Peterpan, the way that Tinkerbell looks at Peter's eye. It says it all." Bwelta ng kaklase ko.

Tumayo ang aming teacher at lumakad ito papauna.

"Class, do you think that you can see the love in the eyes of a person?" Tanong n'ya amin.

Tumaas ako ng kamay para sumagot.

"Sir, i do believe that love really shown in the eyes of a person, kasi in what way pa po ba nating pwede makita na in love ang isang tao? Diba sa Eyes lang, the way that it's sparkle everytime we see the person we love." sagot ko bago ako umupo, may point naman ako diba?

"Very well said. Ms. Gomez but attraction is easily spotted in a person's eyes right? Maybe the one that you're trying to point is Attraction and not love." Bawi n'ya sa akin.

"But sir, attraction is really different from love. If you're in love you're willing to support your love ones in everything he or she wants. Just like how Tinkerbell support Peterpan." Sagot ko naman dito.

"But Tinkerbell is not in love with Peter. She is attracted to Peter." Sabi nito.

"If you are Tinkerbell, the girl who will support your man unconditionally, and stand by them until the end. When they find their own Wendy, you will stay pa rin kasi syempre s'ya si Peter. Maybe you're not in love with him but you will stay kasi s'ya ang Peterpan mo and you promise to support him until the end. You get my point?" Paliwanag pa sa amin ni Sir.

But Peter already have Tinkerbell, bakit si Wendy pa rin?

"You can only see in the eyes of a person kung attracted s'ya sayo. Ang love, malalaman mo yan sa kilos n'ya towards sayo." Dagdag pa ni Sir.

He has a point, maybe kaya minsan na aattract lang tayo kasi we never experience how to be in love pa naman. We never like to experience love because it hurts.

"Kaya don't be afraid to fall in love because love is never fail. If it's failed, then it's not love."

Biglang nag ring ang bell, meaning break time na. Dumiretso kami sa Canteen nila Adi, Ellie, at Ohris, pag pasok namin sobrang daming student, Dapat talaga eh hindi namin sila kasabay ngayon kasi 3pm ang break namin yung iba eh nag cutting nalang.

Umupo kami dati naming inuupuan at umorder lang ako Cup noodles. Tumingin ako sa gawi nung inuupuan nung lalaki at wala sila dun, maybe hindi pa sila break time.

"Beh i have this chika from humss!!" Excited na sabi samin ni Ellie habang may dala dalang tray paupo sa table namin.

"I met this one boy, yesterday sa may Amphitheater nabangga n'ya ako. He's so handsome. He's wearing a glasses, with shoulder bag. I think he's height is around 5'6." Pagsasalarawan ni Ellie sa lalaki.

"Wearing glasses, with shoulder bag, and around 5'6." Sabi ni Ohris habang nakatingin sa entrance ng canteen. Kaya napatingin na rin kaming tatlo.

"Iyon ba yun?" Dagdag ni Ohris sabay turo sa grupo ng mga lalaki papasok ng canteen.
