Chapter 6: Alone Time

Luke POV:

I thanked the cab driver and payed him, then I got out of the taxi and ran inside.

"Hey sweetie, how was the park?" Mom asked me.

"Fine, I'll be in my room. Call me for dinner." I quickly told her taking of my coat and walking upstairs.

"Okay sweetheart, glad you had fun." My mom responded surprised I was so indecisive.

I shut the door to my room and sat on my bed.

Bling!
I heard a notification and checked my text messaging.

No answer from Zander.

I started to think about all the fun we had together as friends and as lovers.

Sooner or later, I noticed my face was all wet.

I curled up into a ball and sang a song my mom would sing to me when I was scared or nervous.

"Paparapapa, Paparapapa,
Paparapapa" I quietly sang rocking back and forth.

Then something just clicked. But it wasn't good. It was bad.

Zander POV:

I walked out of the cab I took home and walked inside my house.

Nobody was in the kitchen or living room so I took the advantage to go to my room without being bothered.

I shut the door quietly and lay on my bed.

Soon enough all those tears I've been holding back busted down my face.

I sat there sobbing for a while.

Bling!

I got a notification and checked my text messages.

It was from Luke.
