Keefe was...heh... he had amazing hair.

Okay, okay fine let's just say if all of Dex's friends look like this...I'm staying forever.

As my phone finally came to life and ugh still no wifi, so of course I tried to use my data, but guess what? NONE!

"I'll try to fix that" Dex promised

" Dexter! what's the call for, oh I know, I know. I mean my hair is amazing you should see it right after a trim-" He started brushing his hair and a voice yelled "YO! Hunkyhair, found your plan for the Great gulon incident, quite detailed, you should see the Orge's battle plans"

" Keefe-" Dex tried

" Glad you think so but the Great gulon incident, is way better than any battle plans" He shouted back

And a shouting match started.

"Stop! Keefe! RO! KEEFE! THERE IS AN EMERGENCY, HUMANS ARE IN THE LOST CITIES!" he bellowed.

Keefe turned around "Say what now?"

"I see that got your attention," Dex grumbled," I need some nexuses and Ro too for protection."

"Hey... so we are not gonna acknowledge that fact that Nolan is missing" said Laura, "I'm here.", said Nolan crawling out of a bush, he seemed shocked and scared," Sorry, I was um... it was on... instinct"

"New friends ?" Keefe asked, "Where are you, Dexter?"

"Um... wait..." he held up a weird trinket and finally, "Done there should be a one-way crystal on your head right about.....Now!" he looked giddy and grinned when Ro shouted ow! He said he would have to make adaptations but it was better than last time

"See you!" said Keefe and a second later he and a large grey thing with crazy hair and armour with tattoos on her forehead appeared out of a shiny portal and damn that thing looked weird

"We are in the Lost cities... and you...that-" Laura passed out while simultaneously so did Luke

"Wow, I am honoured," said the grey tattoo armour- THING

I don't even know what it was.

It looked down on me and frowned."shiny...What are you wearing it is so...bleh!"

"The-these are designer brands! " I yelped offended

"Forgive Ro, she is a bit..."Keefe looked at dex for help" she is..."

"Ro is an ogre and she might be a but... brutally honest. Well, she is the princess."

I pictured princesses in puffy gowns, tiaras and not looking like...well THAT.

We each got a bracelet. Mine was red with ruby and weird symbols and then when-finally-the others woke up from their dramatic faint, we went through the portal magic thing... and then.... POOF! We poofed to a place that was just breathtaking. I mean, it had gleaming gates that were so tall and bright. And there was a bunch of green around it.

As we fumbled out of the portal and we re-adjusted

"Wa-w- ho? Where? Where are we? How did we get here?" Nolan kept asking.

My jaw dropped. It was MASSIVE!

"Welcome to Everglen." Dex gestured with his hands.
