"And you will be back soon enough?" The Advisor asked my eldest brother as we entered the room. "We are not yet sure if they plan to make trouble or not. It's for the best that the king remains in the capital."
"You worry too much Samuel. We will be back very soon." My brother promised standing up from his chair.
"What's going on?" Christian asked as the duo received us. "Who's making what trouble?"
After the Debutante had ended quite peacefully, my brothers decided it would be for the best if we visited Alloria.
Of course, I had been very excited and enthusiastic about the idea.
After all, I couldn't wait to get rid of the seal.
"There seems to be something shady going on apparently," Samuel said sounding very irritated.
"Something shady?" I asked with a raised brow as Christian turned to the king with a questioning look on his face.
"Nothing to worry about." My eldest brother said dismissing our questions.
"Now that you refused to answer I'm almost sure that it's something to be worried about. " Aiden grumbled.
"It's the Mage's." Dominic sighed shooting a disapproving glare at Aiden. "The head Mage has reported something a little suspicious."
"You said you would tell me about it," I said accusingly as I crossed my arms.
Dominic exhaled contemplating but with the three of us glaring at him he understood that he did not really have much of a choice.
"A certain group of Mage's have been acting weird. It's not completely clear exactly what they plan to do but the head Mage thought it would be better if he informed me about it." Dominic finally said. "And Samuel just got reports stating that certain unregistered Mage's have been entering the capital without being detected."
"That's not possible," Christian said frowning while I look between them confused.
"What do you mean unregistered and undetected?" I asked. "I mean you can't really keep a track of them all, right?"
My brother's all looked at me in amusement.
"Actually we do," Aiden responded. "Every person who enters Hellora has to register themselves at the gates. We keep track of every single person who enters. Without legal paperwork that confirms your identity, you cannot enter the capital. That's our law to keep our people safe."
I blink rather surprised.
"So now you're saying that certain people are entering without being registered?" I muttered.
"Yes." Aidan nods his head.
"But they should not be able to get in without registering," Christian argued turning back to our eldest brother.
"Well someone seems to be doing that right under our noses," Dominic answered calmly.
"Then we need to figure out just who this person is," Aiden grumbled while I chose to simply listen to their conversation.
"I am in the process of already doing that," Dominic said with a sigh as he turned to me. "For now I suggest we get back from Alloria as soon as we can."
"I won't take up too much time," I promised nodding my head.
The king turned to the Advisor.
"Standing here and wasting time isn't going to be helpful, besides we'll be back soon enough. I'll leave you with the kingdom duties until I am back." My eldest brother commanded. "If they do make trouble then take the steps you deem necessary."
