Coming back to the palace, my brothers almost immediately left me alone to go deal with the matter of unregistered Mages.

I on the other hand settled to read the book I had received from the Dutchess.

I was adamant about breaking this seal, even by force if I had to.

Being weak and vulnerable with the current situation was not possible and besides the prospect of kicking evil butts seemed rather exciting.

"Why did this have to be so complicated?" I asked out loud once I closed the book.

"Is something the matter Princess?" Merida who was giving me company in the royal library asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Unfortunately yes," I grumbled pointing to the fat book. "This says that the easiest way to break the seal would be if the Demon or Demoness who imposed the seal lifts it but-"

I bit my cheeks pausing as I leaned back in my chair.

My mother was already dead.

I sighed softly.

I didn't oppose my biological mother for putting the seal on me.

It was for the best and I knew that. Yet I was irritated that the seal wouldn't be lifting anytime soon.

"How about you go train Princess?" Merida suggested her smile understanding. "It will help and also take your mind off things."

"Train?" I repeated doubtfully. "Alone?"

"You could ask one of his highness's." My bodyguard suggested with a shrug. "I'm sure they would love to help you."

"But aren't they busy with work?" I asked hesitating.

"I don't think they will be too busy for you and besides Prince Aiden is free I believe."

"Well then," I said as I got up. "I might as well find him."

Aiden was good at provoking and for once that would be of help to me.

Walking around the palace I took in a minute to relax and breathe in some fresh air.

I had been inside the library ever since I had been back and it certainly had drained me.

"Where do you think he will be?" I asked looking back at Merida who was silently following a step behind me.

She contemplated a moment before answering.

"Prince Aiden should probably be at the west wing." She said."Thats the weaponry and Military wing and his highness's usual location."

"He does love fighting," I muttered nodding my head.

"He's quite good at it," Merida commented.

"I suppose he is."

The west wing was one that I had never been to but sure enough, I could tell why it was called the weaponry and military wing.

Maps, Axes, blades of every kind, small or big, light or heavy, bow and arrows.

It was undeniably a fascinating sight to behold.

I gently slid my finger through a silver bow that had attracted my gaze.

Back in the Human World, I truly had a knack for archery.

I remember how my foster parents had gifted me my first bow on my birthday when I was young.

Of course, it wasn't a metal one like this but it had been precious to me.

I smiled at the fond memory.
