Part 8 "Jealousy"

After that day it started getting awkward and awkward.
Tsukishima would often get into arguments and pick fights with his brother for no reason at all. And he started avoiding Kageyama.

Kageyama's pov
The next day at school Tsukishima has been avoiding eye contact as well as any physical contact with me. Every time I would try to talk to him he would flinch and run away.

Yachi - Kageyama what are you so sad about? You've been sighing like 20 times today

Kageyama - I think Tsukishima got the wrong idea about me and his brother..he's avoiding me

Yachi - Kageyama kun..don't worry! I promise that Tsukishima kun is not that kind of person. He's just surprised and we both know the truth that it was all a misunderstanding right!

Kageyama - I guess, I'm going to get some milk from the vending machine.

I left to the vending machine and when I got there I saw Tsukishima. He was standing in front of the vending machine about to get a drink

Kageyama - Oi

Tsukishima -...

Tsukishima - I got to go

I grabbed his uniform before he turned to leave and pulled it with force refusing to let go.

Kageyama - let's talk about something

Tsukishima - No thanks

Kageyama - There's nothing going on between me and your brother. It's all just a misunderstanding.

Tsukishima - You don't need to lie to cover up for my brother

Thwack

Tsukishima - ...

Kageyama - ...!

Before long I realized what I had done.
I was too frustrated that I punched Tsukishima in the face.

Tsukishima - I'll see you at class

Tsukishima turned away and left as I hesitated for a moment before following him

Kageyama - WAIT!

Tsukishima - ...

His steps grew faster and faster as I ran to chase him.

Once I finally reached him I pulled him into a tight embrace from behind.

Tsukishima flinched as he was shocked and he looked down at me confused as I held him tight without letting go.

Kageyama - WOULD YOU JUST FUCKING BELIEVE ME FOR ONCE!? I ALREADY SAID THAT IT'S A MISUNDERSTANDING!!

Tsukishima - I..

Tsukishima sighed as he pulled away from me

Kageyama - are you going to run away again?

Tsukishima - why should I?

I stared into his eyes as he slowly smiled at me.

He smiled..at me?

Tsukishima - Sorry I was just shocked that it all happened so suddenly.

Tsukishima - Especially since it's my brother.

Bell rings

Tsukishima - I'm going to class

Kageyama - I'll come as well

After class

Tsukishima was peacefully asleep on his desk as the Sun rays shone into the peaceful and quite room.
