Harry's pov

The time has come to meet my new lawyer. I'm dreading this so much.

I'm waiting in a dark room with another officer. I sit at the round table  looking into nothing sitting in silence. No one is talking. Not even Sir Talks A lot whos sitting in front of me to keep me 'behaved'. He's the new guard. He just finished school and got this position a few weeks ago. I bet he's not talking because he knows who he's dealing with today.

This is going to be a fun one to mess with. He doesn't belong here, there's no place for a newbie here. To many dangerous men, his poor mama probably wondering if her little snickerdoodle is doing all right.

I give him a judgey look up and down and scoff at the sight of him, how rattled up he looks. He just looks at me in confusion, you an tell he took it offensively. Good, I'm happy he took it the right way.

"What was that for?" he sounds so offended, that It only adds fuel to my fire

" I don't know, just thinking how dumb the guards are putting you, a newbie with me. A serial killer, alone in a room." His offended emotions instantly turns into scared and on guard. I can see him reach for his gun on his waistline but I ignore it, he's too much of a wuss to use it on me anyways.

Our little shift in environment is interrupted by a bang on the door. Newbie goes to open the door as I see Officer Baldy come, in but someone else follows him into the room as well.

Is that my lawyer.

Her eyes meet mine for a split second before she takes out her hand for me to shake it.

"Hello, I'm your lawyer Althea Vela."

That answers my question.

Her voice a little deeper than I imagined, I shake my hand against hers as she sits down on the chair in front of me as Newbie and Baldy leave the room for required privacy.  She gives me a welcoming smile but I don't give one back.

"I'm here to help you with your case, if you don't want to cooperate that's fine with me but if you want to get out of this shit, I suggest you do as your told. Clear?"
