UNEXPECTED (Christopher Vélez from CNCO fanfic)

Twenty Two.

*CHRISTOPHER'S POV*

I woke up a bit late 'cause I was so exhausted from yesterday's trip, damn. I really can't get used to it even though we travel a lot.

I got up and searched for Luna around the room but suddenly remembered that she has work today.

*Sigh* I wish she'd let me do all the work for her so she can live life without any problems, like I did for my mom. But she's an independent woman, I know she won't agree with that idea.

I saw a note from Luna on the nightstand saying that she already left.

*Knocks*

"Yo Chris, tenemos que ir en 10 minutos." Richard said and walked away.

(Tenemos que ir en 10 minutos = We have to go in 10 minutes)

I immediately grabbed a shirt and pants and took a shower. I forgot about our meeting today.

A few minutes later, I went downstairs and saw the others waiting. They saw me and signaled that we gotta leave like right now.

We drove for 10 minutes and arrived at the studio.

"What do you think is our meeting about?" Joel asked. "I don't know but it sounded urgent on the phone." Richard answered.

As we arrive at the studio, we saw Walter sitting down with a laptop in front of him.

We all greeted each other and he offered us to sit.

"So I called you all here for an important announcement." he said and we just looked at him waiting to say something.

"I'm gonna let you listen to a song, covered by someone. And let me know what you think." he said as he plays the song cover.

Wow, her voice is so angelic.

Wait, she sounded so familiar but I can't remember the name.

The song ended and we all are just stunned by her voice. I wonder who she is, her voice is familiar to me.

"So, what do you think?" Walter asked, the boys nodded and said, "She's really good.", "She has an amazing voice, obviously super talented.", "What's her name though, Walter?".

"Does she, by any chance, have a youtube channel?" I asked, they all looked at me.

"She actually does, Chris. You might know her by the name 'Moonlight'." he said.

Oh! Yeah I know her! I love her covers and stuff.

"Yeah, Chris knows her. He had a little crush on her ever since he listened to her covers." Zabdiel said teasingly. I did but I have Luna now.

"Oh really Chris? You have a crush on her?" Walter asked, I shook my head and said, "HAD a crush, I'm in a loving, committed relationship now."

They all just laughed and teased me a bit from my words. Hahaha I can't blame them 'cause before Luna, I was a real flirt.

"Well that's good to hear then... because I actually got Moonlight as my client!" he said excitingly. Wow!

We all congratulated him 'cause damn, Moonlight is a natural star.

"And I actually have her here now." he added. We all looked shocked at what he said and looked around.

"Ehem, Moonlight, you can come out now." he said, the door to the booth suddenly opened as the girl came out.

Wait, is that..

"Luna?"

*LUNA'S POV*

"Luna?" Chris said, all of them were shocked to see me.

"Hi guys." I said while smiling at them.

"Luna, you can sing?" Joel asked with his eues wide open just like the others.

"You sound awesome!" Richard said.

"Your voice is so uniquely beautiful, Lu." Erick said, as they all ask me questions about my music.

"I didn't know you can sing so well babe, you never fail to amaze me." Chris said and kissed my forehead. We all sat down, talking about my channel and when did I start.

They said that we can do a cover of their song soon and ofcourse I agreed. I told them about my goal and they assured me that they'll be there all the way.

I love these guys.

"So you're gonna post videos with your face then?" Zabdiel asked. I nodded and they cheered for me.

"Why don't we post a teaser video for our cover session?" Richard said and we all agreed so I took our my phone, pressed record and started talking.

"Hi guys, this is Luna Lopez, aka. Moonlight. I will start posting other videos and covers with CNCO soon so don't forget to subscribe to my channel!" I said while smiling.

"Subscribe!" The boys said in unison. I immediately posted in on youtube, instagram, and twitter. A minute later, my phone started buzzing like crazy.

The boys' fans are commenting on my post and they're all very supportive.

My heart is happy.

We decided to go back home and rest some more. I told the girls about me and they shrieked very loud, they said it's because they're a fan of Moonlight and well, I'm her.

Here we go, a new journey begins.
